surface=concrete:plates are for prefabricated concrete plates, linked together on site. A typical concrete footpath is cast on site and is usually just surface=concrete.

How should these opening hours be interpreted - "09:00-(sunset-00:30)"?
2 ~ 2 months agookwithmydecay That should be interpreted as the park closing 30 minutes before sunset, which parses in https://openingh.openstreetmap.de/evaluation_tool/

Hi there,

These AI slop buildings are mostly semi detached and terraced houses, and therefore should be split according to the OSMUK Cadastral Parcels.

Can you please ensure you split these to ensure accuracy?

The ‘Public Rights of Way’ overlay in ID (see Overlays in the Background Settings pane on the right) shows it’s a footpath (green line). It does show the footpath starting from the house’s driveway at the northern end, though. Perhaps that’s why the gate’s locked,...
2 ~ 11 months agookwithmydecay Well spotted! I can see there is a stile next to the driveway, so I've adjusted accordingly https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/169996518

If you’re going to use AI to help with doing building outlines, could you please check what it produces before you submit it? There’s some pretty weird stuff going on in the middle of all these buildings.

I’ve fixed it in https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/169218146
2 ~ 11 months agookwithmydecay Thank you for adding the extra detail and adjusting the buildings! I had taken to review the building outlines, so I appreciate your tweaks.

Could this do with foot=permissive as well, assuming that it's private land?
2 ~ 1 year agookwithmydecay Good point. I am not sure how to tag the cycling access, as the sign says: "cyclists must slow down or dismount". Would it be best to err on the side of caution and use bicycle=dismount?
3 ~ 1 year agorskedgell
♦1,867
I think using dismount would potentially exclude people using a cycle as a mobility aid, or using a cycling profile in a router.

Perhaps something like bicycle=permissive + maxspeed:bicycle=walk + note=* might cover it?
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:maxspeed

Using separate there really ought to be in the wiki and StreetComplete. I'd start an RFC, but I'm insufficiently masochistic.
2 ~ 3 years agookwithmydecay The transit shelter was already mapped hence the use of separate, but perhaps it's better to delete the shelter and just add shelter=yes to the stop?
3 ~ 3 years agorskedgell
♦1,867
I'd keep the amenity=shelter, possibly changing it to a polygon. There are a places where the shelter and the bus stop are sufficiently distant from each other to justify it, particularly with the high resolution imagery we have in London.
