Hi, what is the source for the Bayou's name? It's the Douglas Bayou according to USGS
2 ~ 2 months agoion_chi Wade's Bayou is the name used in signage in Wade's Bayou Park including a historical plaque. Maybe official_name=Douglas Bayou would be better

Why add `surface=paved` to these skyway paths? A majority of them are carpet, which is technically not a subcategory of surface=paved.
2 ~ 2 months agoion_chi They're paved in the sense they're not unpaved, they're improved ways with easy rolling for wheelchairs, suitcases, etc. I did my best not to overwrite the surface if a more specific one was already specified. If you have knowledge of specific sections, please add it, although surface...

On the surface wiki, there are 3 categories with subcategories below them: paved, unpaved, special. These indoor places usually fall into the special category. I wouldn’t treat this tag as a Boolean, we separately have smoothness=excellent which I think matches your description better (for nex...

I'm confused about inclines on stairs? Why is it up? I could just as easily walk down these stairs.
The wiki is also not very clear.
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:incline=up?uselang=en
2 ~ 8 months agoion_chi The incline is about the change in elevation along the direction of the way. This way starts at a lower point at water level and ends at a higher level so the incline is up.

The key-level documentation is better:

Wow! Thank you, I think I get it now. If the way had been coded the other direction going from the grass down to the water, the change along the direction of the way would be down. Thank you for the clarification.
4 ~ 8 months agoion_chi Yes, exactly. No problem

For https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1369375435 the segment paralleling the interstate from the bridge over the river, back to the trail, and then looping back to connect itself, does not exist. The cultivated field goes all the way up to the fence/forest line.
2 ~ 8 months agoion_chi Please delete it. It was probably a heatmap artifact

Remember it's usually better to keep the node around and remove the business info so the address data can be reused in the future.
2 ~ 1 year agoion_chi Thanks for adding back. I mistakenly thought the building already had the same address

When do you expect Eliot Street and East Colorado Street construction to be complete?

Or are they already completed?
2 ~ 1 year agoion_chi From the project website it looks to still be in progress, although the last update is from February. The pedestrian detour also appears to have changed

Hello!

You used
horse=noc
on https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1232310263/history

Have you maybe meant
horse=no
?

I am pretty sure that it is a typo, but not sure enough to just replace it (I edited some objects where situation seemed more clear to me).

Or have you used this value de...
2 ~ 1 year agoion_chi This was a typo. You’re right it’s supposed to be horse=no. Thanks for catching it

Why is this necessary for majority native communities in Minnesota, but not Wisconsin where the tags are never changed?
2 ~ 1 year agoion_chi You're right, that does appear to be the convention in Wisconsin and elsewhere. Returned the name to the dual name and added a separate name:en tag

Hi there,

did you mean to add https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/11717026193#map=19/47.23816/-88.46874 to this relation? https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/17333346#map=16/47.2370/-88.4726
