Yea i live in Serbia because it is my home country. The Serbian classifications works like this: IA roads = motorways | IM roads = trunks | IB roads = primary | IIA roads = secondary | IIB roads = tertiary | IB, IIA and IIB roads that are expressways = trunk. 3 ~ 1 month agoika-chan! Hello, I think that on this occasion, the addition was spam: I remember that OpenStreetMap does not like these kind of edits where businesses add themselves with obvious advertising in description=* or note=*. Thanks for taking the time, but what exactly is the spam? We are a company that does private boat tours with skipper and crew to the islands. And the truth is that we do that on luxury crafts, which I removed so none feels offended. What else should I remove, what is spammy?

I've corrected some informations regarding the operator at Paris-Nord, the actual operator is SNCF Mobilités, SNCF Réseau (RFF from 1998 to 2014) is the actual owner.
2 ~ 7 years agoika-chan! That's odd. I thought that if SNCF Mobilités were merely running trains on the network, then they could not be listed as an operator.

In railway terms that's what an operator is, it's the company responsible for running trains on the network which SNCF Mobilités is while SNCF Réseau owns the railway network. But at the end of the day it's still SNCF who is indierctly both the owner and the operator on ...

You added even more details. Thanks :)
2 ~ 8 years agoika-chan! Side note: one of the reasons I use turn restrictions in "strict mode" is to make it harder for routers to suggest stupid directions like https://www.openstreetmap.org/directions?engine=graphhopper_car&route=47.1930%2C8.4760%3B47.1985%2C8.4719#map=16/47.1957/8.4741 (as of 25 October 20...

Sure. My comment was specific for the situation at http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/339958083 where the merging of separated traffic coincides with an intersection, where a u-turn could be taken.
And that is a really bad route from graphhopper. They should improve their routing weights.

Why did you shuffle the lanes to different ways on the bridge? Why split up the trunk south of the roundabout?

There is no turn restriction. See https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/Mxyk_ORixW4OX7iRxppetQ
2 ~ 8 years agoika-chan! According to https://www.mapillary.com/map/im/OCGA2618o24nDCjHRoQGuQ the northbound lanes south of the roundabout are only separated by a white line, hence I thought I should use "change:lanes", and the u-turn was created because I believe I cannot just do that at any junction. Nevertheles...
3 ~ 8 years agoika-chan! I should also add that I map each direction separately if the road is separated by a visible central reservation raised by a kerb, regardless of surface.

You are right about the split ways. I'm sorry, I misremembered that situation.
True it is an awkward turn, but it is not prohibited, so I would not map it.
As for not good enough, rest assured you are good. Sorry that I cam across as harsh, I was merely puzzled, and my apologies especially be...

1 ~ 9 years agoika-chan! To clarify, changeset 45907040 reverted 17 changesets by athinaios, which had Google as its source. However, it unwittingly affected the integrity of the carefully ordered National and Provincial road relations.
