| 2 | 2025-07-16 12:31 | commented | Sofia_111 ♦111 | It isn't disused. It's still used by the Davidstow Flying Club. It's also an emergency airfield and by the military for training. | ||
| 3 | 2025-07-17 13:31 | commented | Menheniot ♦134 | I visited the airfield about a week ago, the runways were in a state of disrepair and there were sheep grazing across the whole airstrip | ||
| 4 | 2025-07-17 13:39 | commented | Sofia_111 ♦111 | It's still an operational airfield. It's just not as looked after as other airfields. The grazing is the dual use of the land for when the airfield is not being used. The sheep help cut the grass too. This is one of the reasons there's no flights here during lambing season - local farmers move the sheep away if there's a flight and the flying club monitor the sheep too. But the planes here are basically light aircraft like microlights. | ||
