Otherwise, you could connect the last bit of footway to bridge without overlapping below. Especially like the weird one along Ezermalas iela which also has on_kerb parking behind sidewalk. Not quite the most common case of on_kerb parking, but it's not really a proper standalone or street_side parking either. It's a private space anyway, whether you can legally access right most spots without car capable of crabwalking (see Hyundai e-turn or some forklifts with omniwheels) is a problem for less than dozen people working or living there. No point complicating the map for everyone else by tagging sidewalk part in weird way or drawing fake additional roads. Tie pārsvarā bija priekš `opening_hours`. Visus šāda veida nosacījumus OSM standarti liek ar `*:conditional` līdzīgi kā priekš `access`, `maxspeed`, `fee`, utt. Un dubultā ar `restriction:conditional` tos noteikti nevajadzētu likt - tas tikai vēl vairāk sajauks datu parsēšanu. `hour_on`\`off` pasaulē palikuši tikai 1200 no kuriem `500` restriction relācijās un `50` no tiem tikai Latvijā. Paskatoties piemērus, tie ir palikuši no seniem laikiem un nav vēl izlaboti. Tie visi no Overpass ir teorētiski jāizlabo uz `restriction:conditional`. Pasaulē `restriction:conditional` ir kartēts 19000 reižu,[2] bet `restriction:conditional=none` un līdzīgi varianti ap 100 un ar vērtību `none␣@␣(22:00-07:00)` ir visi tikai Latvijā. Es pieņemu, ka "apgriezti" kartēts `restriction=*` + `restriction:conditional=none @ ...` ir nevis tāpēc, ka navigatori saprot `restriction:conditional`, bet tāpēc, lai pa dienu rādītu "pareizi", bet tas, ka pa nakti nepareizi, lai ir kā ir. Es protams šo domu saprotu, bet tādu no OSM principiem atkāpjošos kartēšanu tad gan vajadzētu apspriest vispirms kopienā. Galu galā, nekur citur pasaulē to nedara un neviens navigators speciāli priekš Latvijas to neparsēs. Ko tu īsti domāji ar "strādā" - kādā veidā šie laiki tiek izmantoti navigācijā vai displejā? Kuru navigatoru tu lieto, kurš saprot tādus laika ierobežojumus? Jo JOSM no tava piemēra saprot tikai `restriction=no_left_turn`, bet visu pārējo tikai kā papildus tegus, kur nav izparsēti. Tāpēc nepareizi rāda ierobežojumu neatkarīgi no laika. iD tā pat. Es nevienu navigatoru nezinu, kas rādītu pareizi. Vai nu rāda vienmēr vai nekad. Visi OSM lapas rūteri `conditional` laikus nelieto (un `hour_on` vispār nekad nav lietojuši). OsmAnd arī daļēji pagaidām. Protams naktī būs nepareizi. Un ja te kaut kādi citi laiki, piemēram https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/4122668 , tad būs nelietojami jebkurā gadījumā. Es teiktu - kamēr neviens navigators nesaprot, tikmēr var likt arī to otru garāko variantu. Bet līdz ko kāds navigators ieviesīs pareizu conditional parsēšanu, tad jāpārliek tie visi precīzi un lai pārējie tad labo, jo OSM dati tomēr ir primāri. Nav arī garantijas, ka kāds to nepamanīs un nesalabos kaut kādā brīdī, jo pašlaik jau Latvijā nav nolemts taisīt tieši šādi vai citādi. Anyway, they were mis/overtagged as paths before. I have no objections about removing bridge (and invalid foot) tags. This means it doesn't get rendered in most maps, which is a major downside. But it's technically mapped correctly. Most roads in Latvia with cycle lanes don't have them mapped and thus rendered separately. Some do. There's a split in community as to how these ought to be mapped, although the "correct" method is the way it's mapped here - as part of the main road, since there are no physical separations and it's just another lane on the road (like a turning lane or a bus lane). There's not really much that can be done to have it rendered except ask CoMaps to implement it (although historically, only cycle-oriented maps have done so). | |

Please leave this note open for now, I'll try to visit the place again in a few days and to check whether there is a volleyball court. Overall, that area has a number of improperly mapped stuff. E.g. roads near the gates close to two information boards to the south-west are mapped incorrectly, roads to the south doesn't look in reality like the ones on map, stairs of bridge of Augusta Delgava iela are misplaced and drawn incorrectly. Probably help of someone more skilled than me is required for surveying this area. | |

Added some photos of the parking, moving from tennis courts towards Augusta Delgava iela and then one facing the tennis courts direction. There are 2 breaks in marking on parking but I still think that it should be mapped as single parking, like HellMaps mentioned. There are also some parking spots for disabled people and some bicycle parkings sticking to building mapped as B1-18. The building itself is actually not B1-18, it has 3 [double] entrances B21(1)/B22(22) - B23(3)/B24(4) - B25(5)/B26(6) counting from tennis court to Delgava iela, across the parking in question. Also added photo of South-West gates facing them from inside (towards the Augšuela). As you can see, all gates connected to the road, not like the map shows. Notice board is on the gates from South side, it's mapped but not categorized (?). So the thing with official traffic signage is that it makes it legally explicit, therefore OSM follows it. Because every other interpretation would be subjective. Unless there is something conflicting that makes the signage completely invalid/impossible, OSM normally tags based on signage. So this is legally a shared cycleway. Now, not having a matching end closing sign obviously makes this ambiguous. Normally, OSM resolves this by common sense. But like legally, it doesn't even say it has to be signed on both ends. In this case, I marked it only until the tunnel. Btw, I left the note because I missed the sign when I first surveyed this and then noticed it later, but as with so much stuff, never had the time to update. | |
