2025-08-24 23:37 | commented | ZMYaro ♦5 | They (and the adjacent stairway) go from the surface level in the headhouse to the middle level of the subway station (which leads to the fare gates). Attached photo(s): https://streetcomplete.app/p/300836.jpg | |

2025-03-14 17:27 | commented | ZMYaro ♦5 | Vester is there now and already on the map. I don't know whether OSM has a way to keep the old restaurant listing searchable but show as permanently closed like Google Maps does? | |
2025-03-14 17:50 | closed | CurlingMan13 ♦51,130 | Vester is already mapped next door. We don't map what it "was" on OSM. We only map what it is. | |

2025-03-14 20:27 | commented | ZMYaro ♦5 | Sorry, I am still fairly new to OSM; thank you for correcting me on that. To clarify: Dumpling Daughter closed and Vester now occupies its half of 73 Ames Street in addition to the half it already had, so *none* of 73 Ames Street is vacant. Looking into it now that I am back at my PC, I see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Nonexistent_features says the point for 73 Ames Street should have been updated from Dumpling Daughter to Vester if Vester simply replaced Dumpling Daughter, but I don't quite understand how you are supposed to reflect this situation where one business expanded into a previously adjacent business's space? | |
2025-07-11 12:21 | closed | lmum ♦882 | Since Vester has expanded into the space, we can follow the OSM "one feature" rule. We can delete the redundant address point. https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element Deleting the POI in question and resolving the thread. | |
