A housing development is being built in the grey area and Coate road has been altered slightly to include a roundabout. However, the Coate road bit of the project is all finished now. The overall result is that Coate Road is open to all through traffic. The byway (brown N/S line parallel-ish to Windsor Drv is still connected to it. The roundabout is E of the CR/WD junction and NNW of the CR/byway junction. There is other exit E into the housing development, but that is blocked off for site traffic only with a guard hut and barrier. The original route of CR from the byway direct to WD has been grassed over. CR is still on the same route from the byway to Coate Grove House but has been resurfaced. | |
