♦477		Savers keeps moving around. Previously it was on the north side of Queensway, then it moved to the south side. It's currently on the north side again. That building on the south side is completely empty (on both levels) of shops now, due to proposals to demolish it. I have done a recent survey of all the town centre shops and will update when I have chance.

♦69		The Eurovelo 12 cycle route has changed: From Middlesborough it now seems to follow the 65 to Rudby, and then the 165 which joins the existing route between Kildale and Commondale. In Great Ayton, the route on the Eurovelo site follows Bridge St and Easby Lane, rather than going straight along the river through Little Ayton, as the 165 does. ♦477		Following 65+165 seems like a case of going back to the original route. [1] The route changed on the official website around April 2024, but what was shown between 2019-2024 is different again. [2] However there's no UK National Cycle Route along the coast between Staithes and Whitby, so that was probably an error. Most of EV12 in UK is not signed as EV12 so it's not possible to survey in the field.
