Underwood hall is privae land,as far as I know. Any golf is private residential property. (I doubt it exists since it was for sale in2022 ,with a listing of former golf course.)

Just a guess does this relate to the paths starting from Croft close (set aside land??) which are definitely not dedicated public footpath as they have a section 31(6) highways declaration registered. are they permissive, can public use them and cycles/wheelchairs?)

Although this is a public right of way walking along it in winter is heavily discouraged by WWT because human figures on the skyline disturb waterfowl on the lagoons. I have no idea how such subtleties may be captured.

how you know that something is wrong with them?
32025-07-08 19:49commentedNSiecw
♦102
The OSM data for speed looks right but there is (or was, haven't checked recently) an issue/inconsistency with the physical signage. If you enter the roundabout under the pin from the A14 there is 40mph signage, if you enter from Saxon Way or Crafts Way there is national speed limit signage.
42025-07-09 14:41closedThingummy
♦157
I did not see signs from the flyover side, and there are over 3 lampposts, which in my book makes it 30mph from that direction, but roads approaching from Bar hill say national speed limit as well as street lamps which also makes it 30mph. I have amended. Strictly Cambridgeshire council should change the signage, but the wait time on new signs exceeds my lifetime, Our map should not reflect their inadequacy.

There is a 40mph sign when you enter the bar hill roundabout from the a14 junction, in addition to the 40 mph signs when entering the junction from both directions of the a14 and hattons road. the speed limits were correct (apart from the national speed limit signs). haven't stopped to take photos (no footpath on the road between the roundabouts..) but checked today and the linked image shows the rough locations of the signs. https://imgur.com/a/T71MhkB

Not technically a bridge for footpath? https://www.reddit.com/r/openstreetmap/comments/i9oioy/bridge_or_tunnel/ implies culvert. ground is flat/continuous with footpath
22025-07-07 22:15closedThingummy
♦157
Apparently it is an 8m stone barrel arch. Whilst It's hard to define bridge from tunnel, I go by if it's got a naturalish base it's a bridge. I've marked it as a "bridge area" and not marked the path as a bridge as you are quite right it does not look like it's a bridge.

This requires clarification from the council. The route is an aincient one. The public footpath parallel with the A10 one field over tracking north is present on Openstreetmaps, oficial overlay, which is generated from official data, but absent from Cambridgeshires computerised definitve map. That is very odd. Some clarification is needed, may be there was a stopping up order when the A10 was built.

Thank you, Hard to say what status this road has. It is not listed as Addopted, and not on council map as "section 10", so probably a private road?. Signage is definitely set both ways for traffic calming so definitely two way,, however signage for the pedestrian crossing is not as highway code, - It was probably put there by a private organisation (also the spurious One Way sign, which should be upright!). I've marked it as two way and destination only, as it is obviously used that way.

There's no designated path here on o/s or OSM Overlay. It's just reclaimed/open land, so the route is down to the rabbits. Adjusted to bing.
