When querying near the other lighthouse I mentioned, an actual "lighthouse" node shows up. Many minor roads in Japan end up getting permanently closed due to landslides and lack of traffic, or because modern routes with tunnels become available instead. Others are closed seasonally or due to roadworks. Interestingly the road 350 is a gravel track from that point onwards, and the is a track, and the unnumbered track is an actual sealed road.. Here is Google Streetview from Aug2017: https://maps.app.goo.gl/6hLLC7FfwRNZe35NA Conversely the "track" on the southern fork (whose note you closed) is an actual road the same size as the other road and it was passable when I went through there. | |
