Jag tittade noggrannare när jag gick förbi igen för någon dag sedan, och där är tydliga cykelvägmarkeringar på marken, och tydliga trottoarer (utan kant) på båda sidor om cykelvägen. Men skyltar som sitter uppsatta indikerar att detta är en väg där det råder körförbud för allt utom cyklar och varutransporter, och för varutransporter är det enkelriktat. Så de som ritat markeringar på vägen och de som satt upp skyltarna är uppenbart inte överens. StreetComplete ställer frågor som ej är lämpliga att besvara på något annat sätt än att tagga om detta som highway=cycleway eller highway=pedestrian. Jag skulle argumentera att highway=pedestrian är fel, då där är dedikerad cykelbana, och fotgängare och cyklister är separerade från varandra, vilket innebär att cyklar i teorin kan hålla hög hastighet här. Vilket lämnar highway=cycleway med sidewalk=both och undantag för varutransporter som enda lämplig taggning. Tydligen, enligt tidigare diskussion, har den varit taggad som highway=cycleway förr. Ska kolla varför det ändrades.

Vägen har varit taggad som highway=pedestrian med cycleway=lane nästan hela tiden innan. Den taggades om till highway=residential utan cycleway tagg först för 1 år sedan, med motiveringen "corrected classification", utan vidare motivering. Om cycleway=lane på en highway=pedestrian implicerar att cyklar inte behöver hålla gångfart, så föreslår jag att vi reverterar till den taggning denna väg haft nästan hela tiden innan. I annat fall föreslår jag highway=cycleway med sidewalk=both.

♦4,571		Några synpunkter på min senaste kommentar på ovan nämnda anteckning? Nu när vägarbetena är klara är ju Stora Södergatan–Stortorget–Kyrkogatan identisk i utformning sett till markbeläggning och "trottoarer" utan kanter och även motorfordonsförbud. Så antingen måste den också bli en gågata (vilket, som jag skrev, känns väldigt skevt), eller så kan inte Lilla Fiskaregatan vara det. Att StreetComplete ställer frågan om det finns cykelbanor eller trottoarer är väl inte helt fel. Det finns ju typ trottoarer, även om vi mappar dem enbart med taggar eftersom trottoarkant saknas, och avsaknad av cykelbanor (på Lilla Fiskaregatan; på Stora Södergatan–Stortorget–Kyrkogatan är det slätare gatsten i vägrenen och vissa partier, går kanske inte att klassificera på nåt bra sätt med taggar men det är ju byggt med cyklar i åtanke även där)

♦889		Jag håller inte med om att de har identisk utformning. Tvärtom, Lilla Fiskaregatan och Stora Södergatan-Stortorget-Kyrkogatan är väldigt annorlunda utformade. Lilla Fiskaregatan saknar helt körbana avsedd för bilar. I mitten av vägen är två cykelfiler, en i varje riktning, och på sidorna är trottoarer. Bilar kan köra där, längsmed cykelfilerna, och får i undantag göra det för leveranser, men bör ej köra snabbare än gångfart. Stora Södergatan-Stortorget-Kyrkogatan å andra sidan har två filer uppenbart avsedda för biltrafik i mitten, en i varje riktning, sedan en cykelfil på varje sida om dem, och sen trottoarer. Där är markerade övergångsställen som indikerar att biltrafik har företräde och kommer fort, och i praktiken kör både bilar och bussar här i normal körhastighet, ej gångfart. Om vi pratar om utformning av vägen så är snarare Lilla Fiskaregatan utformad som GC-vägen mellan Lilla Fiskaregatan och Skomakaregatan. De är väldigt snarlikt utformade. Bortsett från att den vägen är skyltad som gemensam GC-väg och inte har symboler för cykelfiler markerade på vägen.

Är det tydligt att det inte finns ett lövtäcke och man ser rötterna brukar jag tagga jord, men är det en blandning av jord, grus, löv etc brukar jag tagga mark. Men jag har inte forskat i det så noga. :)

Om man tar vägbeskrivning för bil från Ljungsbro till Tellbyvallen så visar den att man ska åka vägen upp bland husen och sedan över fotbollsplanerna vilket blir felaktigt då det inte går att framföra ett fordon där. Vore bra om den istället visar vägen till parkeringen som jag markerade då det är parkeringen för Tellbyvallen (Apple kartor som visar fel)

Lantmäteriets karta (vars adresser vi nu får använda, massa förbehåll, se forumet) sätter ut A och B precis bredvid varandra på vissa hus, medan andra hus har klart skilda geografiska positioner för A och B (gissningsvis bara entréer i ett plan då, men det är svårt att veta utan att ha kollat på plats). Jag skulle säga att den här anteckningen kan få vara öppen tills alla husnummer är fixade, antingen genom att kopiera från Lantmäteriets belägenhetsregister, eller genom undersökning på plats för högre noggrannhet. Vi behöver kanske dock inte 50 anteckningar för samma problem i samma område, då hade vi också kunnat öppna en anteckning för varje hus som inte har ett husnummer. Men bra tänkt och kul att du vill engagera dig i ett så här gammalt problem @Amynelle!

Trottoarerna är byggda som öar (och väldigt rullstolsfientligt), men vi vill ändå kunna använda dem för ruttning, så vi måste ansluta dem till vägnätet i korsningar. "Övergångsstället" blir då omarkerat, med vare sig trafikljus, skylt eller zebraränder, höga trottoarkanter samt inga taktila plattor i korsningen. Vanlig vägvisning till fots väljer då trottoaren framför bilvägen, medan om man har en app för rullstolsruttning blir man hänvisad till gatan, till dess att en nedsänkt trottoarkant kommer i en korsning.

I think that, thus, the classification of Lund Municipality should not be the consideration. highway=cycleway "indicates a separate way for the use of cyclists" according to the documentation. It is indeed not separate by any stretch, as it's deliberately designed to blend with pedestrian use. Problems arise in both the general documentation on highway=residential and the local tagging guidelines. The general documentation specifically mentions the road's primary usage being for its area's residences, with the explicit example for exceptions being single corner shops or convenience stores: it's main use is bike through-traffic and accessing the shops lining the street. The swedish tagging guidelines also specifies highway=residential as within residential areas and not for through-traffic, being placed in specifically in relation to other roads by their car usage. If there was no highway=pedestrian available to us, I would agree that highway=residential would be the most-fitting tag, despite its problems. While no explicit pedestrian sign is present, the present no-motor-traffic sign is in fact an even stricter restriction as even goods delivery technically is prohibited. Thus, I would argue that it is in fact a designated pedestrian street. The street is clearly also specifically designed for pedestrian-bike traffic, it is through a typical shopping area characteristic for highway=pedestrian, and the swedish tagging guidelines specifies design rather than designation. All these factors together is why I would rather describe it as pedestrian street than a no-car residential street.

All streets are regulated, making the classification objective. I agree that residential is not ideal, but unclassified would fit well for a street with so many shops. A major problem with mapping it as highway=pedestrian is that bikes would get heavily penalised, since the speed limit would implicitly be walking speed. In reality, it's 30 km/h here, making it a great through-street for cycling (and also may be why it was erroniously tagged as a cycleway in the past). Furthermore, delivery vehicles are only prohibited to enter from Kyrkogatan/Stortorget, not from Klostergatan, so it is not a complete ban on motor vehicles. Where did you find Sweden-specific tagging guidelines?

♦889		I were at this street a few days ago, and remembered this note. I don't really have much to add, other than that I agree there are no tag that describes this road well. There is a dedicated bicycle lane in the middle of the road, but with wide sidewalks at both sides of it. The bicycle lanes are clearly marked being for bicycles only, with markings on the ground. In practice, people walked on the bicycle lanes as well, treating the road like if it was a pedestrian street. But the construction seem to indicate it is primarily meant as a pass-through for bicycles. Residential road feels wrong. There are no residences here, at least not for cars to access. Unclassified road also feels wrong, since unclassified roads are usually bigger and more important than residential roads, being the smallest roads for everyday traffic. The intention seems not to have been for this to be a pedestrian road either, as there is a dedicated bicycle lane. It also feels odd to mark it as separated cycleway and footway, as it a very wide path between houses, that look more like a pedestrian road. But I wonder if that is not technically what this is. Should we just close this note and leave it like it is, since no other candidate seem compelling, and the current tagging works functionally?

♦4,571		I recently went here as well, and just wanted to add one thing: After the construction works, parts of Stora Södergatan/Stortorget/Kyrkogatan will be designed exactly the same as this street, with no height-separated sidewalks. Taking that into consideration I think cements the point that residential or unclassified are the only real options, since no-one (I hope!) would propose to map a 30 km/h through-road buses as a cycleway or pedestrian street.

If it is used in addresses, it should usually be mapped as a hamlet/isolated dwelling/locality. And now that I'm looking at the area, I see that Storå is mapped twice and there is a mistagged school building north of Storåskolan. Seems like this area might need a general review. The only thing left to survey is whether the line is two opposing bike lanes or a segregated shared path. The stairs imply it's a segregated path, but signage is oftentimes conflicting and incorrect, so a survey is needed.
