Those are typical of UK churchyards. They're not usually mapped, except for the graves of famous people. The wiki for grave redirects to cemetery, but that's only appropriate for land which is described and signed specifically as a cemetery.

It's re-opened! We went on walk over the new bridge a couple of days ago. So I've modified the map, and re-routed three relations back over the bridge. https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/168286588 (Hopefully I've done that correctly) Construction's not all finished yet. There's still construction of a ramp on the east side and steps on the west side. All still fenced off. Photo https://www.instagram.com/p/DLgPo5ANimW/ So we've still got to keep an eye on when those bits open. Also there's currently no footpath giving access up the east side: https://www.instagram.com/p/DLgP1vZNbzh/

This crossing https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/8243211243 is marked with "crossing=marked", which implies that there are no traffic signals, and "traffic_signals=yes", an undefined tag which implies that there are traffic signals. This is a contradiction! If traffic signals exist, then "traffic_signals=yes" should be deleted and "crossing=traffic_signals" should be set. If the traffic signals do not exist, then the tag "traffic_signals=yes" should be deleted.

1~ 9 months agoopenedtaxedserfA minor change request to a bridleway alignment. On OSM presently, the bridleway is marked from this point S of Barrow Farm, Much Hadham, ENE to a gate in a single straight line. This is not how it works in real life! The landowners' signs and waymarkers has the bridleway going to the same gate in a three-sided rectangle. The bridleway goes around the green hedge SSW, then goes ENE parallel to the OSM-marked bridleway, then NNE to the gate. In the shared folder below is a map recorded from a GPS trail and a screenshot of Herts' County Council's public copy of definitive map. The definitive map shows a third option (!), which isn't how the waymarking actually is. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xNSrwONnVsdbppww9l6yro-9zW_d6QkY?usp=sharing

The out of copyright 1974 (1:2,500) OS map has the Wye extending further north west than the relation, although they seem to be missing a tile/sheet & it's possible the waterways have changed course due to mills no longer needing the volume of water they needed (Verco have made furniture here since 1932) National Library of Scotland map viewer: https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/side-by-side/#zoom=16.8&lat=51.64237&lon=-0.79941&layers=258&right=osm relation: https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/12432638#map=15/51.64248/-0.79269 It also has the waterway between here (https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/610284448 ) and the end of Desborough rec ground (https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/26995603 ) as being the Wye.

2~ 9 months agocommentedharg
♦3,627
You should perhaps take that up with the local authority that is responsible for PROW. It may be that the landowner has illegally diverted the footpath, in which case the local authority should either agree the diversion and update the PROW documentation, or take enforcement action to reinstate the official route.
