Unable to answer "What type of stile is this?" – Stile – https://osm.org/node/9646471189 via StreetComplete 61.0: Not sure if that is correctly mapped. Seems to be something other than a stile. Attached photo(s): https://streetcomplete.app/p/279446.jpg

The structure in the photograph is shown in the open position. When it is closed (and locked with a padlock, most of the time, as far as I have seen), it blocks the passage of cars, but the two narrow gaps on the left of the photograph still allow it for pedestrians and cyclists. If it's not a sui generis stile, then what is it?

"A stile allows pedestrians to cross a wall or fence, but never actually "opens" the barrier. Unlike a gate, a stile has few or no moving parts." Looking at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:barrier , maybe "swing_gate" would be more correct choice here?

Probably. If you are sure, go ahead.
