On a Garmin device, when you select "Where to?" and then "Address", when it asks for a house number, it does not accept any characters other than numeric digits in your input, and it demands an exact match on the house number, so when you input an address that uses one of these such grouped house numbers, it will not find it. Remember that Garmin does not officially support OpenStreetMap data on its GPS devices, as it sells its own map products instead.

♦1,766		The syntax of using a list of housenumbers separated by commas is valid. I often use that approach when adding addresses from my phone, but usually move the addresses of buildings with multiple addresses to individual nodes when I get home, because it seems to be the convention in Vancouver, looks cleaner, and is necessary when buildings have addresses on different streets (corner lots). I can understand other people not liking the comma separated list. In this case I must have just forgotten to move the addresses to nodes when I got home. But two approaches were taken to get rid of the comma separated lists here, and both are worse than a comma separated list. One building had the four addresses (52 to 58) replaced with two specific addresses, and an interpolated way between them. This provides less information than having all addresses listed, and while not wrong, is less good. Two buildings (building with addresses 60 to 68, and with 76/78) were remapped as multiple buildings, one for each address. This is wrong. Buildings should not be divided into multiple buildings unless they are physically separate structures in reality. An separate address is not enough to make it a separate building. I've fixed these edits, and done so by moving the addresses of buildings with multiple addresses to individual nodes. I've returned the two addresses that had been deleted. Hopefully this should make everyone happy.

♦1,766		Whether or not we do an import, I think it's important to be aware that the Vancouver address dataset from the CoV is not 100% accurate. There seems to be two issues with it, both of which stem from the fact that it is a map of the addresses of land parcels, not a map of all addresses. So when a single building takes up more than one parcel it has two nodes usually/always with the same address. More importantly when a land parcel has more than one address, only one is in the dataset. I've just been viewing the dataset in JOSM, looking at areas I manually added addresses to, and cannot find a single example of a building with more than one address in reality that has more than one in the dataset. When I did the building trace import, I checked on both the Wiki and the mailing list, and the only comments I got were in support of the licences being compatible, as long as the source was noted. If we do an import of addresses, I think it's important to include a fixme tag, or something else to track that the address has been imported w/o checking in person, so we can check for buildings with more than one address. The import itself wouldn't be particularly skilled, at least the way I'd do it. Open the CoV data in a separate layer in Josm, and copy and paste into the OSM layer, building by building. It would also take some pre-proccessing, so that the tags would match OSM standards, like changing streetname tags to not be in ALLCAPS.

The Census Designated Place of Vienna Center seems to be the correct tag for this community (Q784979). This point falls within the Vienna Center boundary however it is probably not the best spot for the point, I also question the boundary for Vienna Center that is currently here and will look into that.
