Fair enough. Probably pressed something accidentally. Anyway, as of now, there is no POI in this point.

Could it be, that the Hotel is on both sides? Old Hotel and Restaurant on north side and the new Hotel on south side? Or is "Marashayangdi Hotel" there, where "Chulu" is now?
3~ 11 years agocommented---Dear Pyram, I know for certain because i Spend 4 months every year at this exact place. So, the Marshiangdi hotel (called after the name of the river located in the Annapurna region) is located at the north of the track. The L shaped building being the lodge (with dining hall and rooms) open only during high season (from September till november) while the rectangular bulding next to it is the owner's parents old house (now a little teashop during the high season). and the other L-shaped building located at the south of the path is the CHULLU WEST Hotel which is open all year round. I can also add that this winter, an avalanche has destroyed part of the MArshiangdi hotel (the dining hall) but it should be rebuilt for next september. Hope to have answered your question clearly. DO not hesitate in case you need further information, Best regards, Valerie Mallard
4~ 11 years agocommented---I hope, it's better now. Is it possible to contact the hotels (adress/website)? "teashop" means restaurant? Thanks [pyram]
5~ 11 years agocommented---Dear Pyram, Unfortunately, these hotels have no electricity yet (GUnsang is the only hamlet without electricity, only solar panels for light, which adds to its charm really), so they don’t have websites or emails, but there will be a Facebook page soon for the Chullu West hotel. Local teashop means that they provide tea and local drinks (like Chang and RAkshi) for local people only. The MArshiangdi hotel caters mainly for tourists during the high season whereas the Chullu West caters for both Nepali and foreign tourists and also local people of the area (providing tea, and other food and beverages for both local people and tourists). Do not hesitate to ask any question. I’m happy to share what i know about this little but unique place, Best regards, Valerie Mallard

The note is old enough, I think it's safe to close it.
