Unable to answer "What barriers are used at this railway crossing?" – Railway-Path Crossing – https://osm.org/node/317040449 via StreetComplete 61.3: There is no railroad crossing here, the railroad has actually been moved to another location sometime around 2020 and this path is actually now a footpath with stones (see picture) I'm a StreetComplete user here, so I'm have limited knowledge, I would appreciate the help from people who know how to fix this. As of 2023, Gracy Farms Lane has a two-way bike lane beginning at Burnet and continuing southbound. (Northbound GFL maintains its one-way bike lane.) How far does this new two-way bike lane go? To Hobby Horse, Stonehollow, Metric Blvd, or further? It will need to be added to Bike Route #6, and probably remapped separately. There is no current consensus on two-way bike lanes that are on the roadway but unprotected. If it were protected or separated from the roadway, it would need to be mapped as a separate feature.

Where is Burnet Road? Is this an alternative name for the freeway?
22022-06-25 03:05commentedskquinn
♦5,451
Okay, so some 1.5 miles southwest-ish from here there is a Burnet Road. Is that a valid alternative name for the service road along Loop 1?
32022-06-28 02:48commenteddoubledd3Before this section became the Loop 1 / Mopac Expwy toll road that opened in 2006, it was FM 1325 which was also known as Burnet Road. Some maps and street signs will still call it that. Burnet Road up until 2003 didn't have a divided median and you could take a left turn from where Garbo's is (Sea Island Shrimp House at the time) to go south onto Burnet Road where the North end of Mopac Expwy begins and pass under Parmer Lane.
42025-10-18 21:49closedcitrula
♦113
The TxDOT website still uses Burnet Road in the address, and it matches up with the NAD address point. Seems like it is correct to me, just a strange holdover.

Is there a way to tag time based permit requirements?
32025-01-05 07:50commentedcitrula
♦113
yes, conditional access restriction, but I'm not sure how to tag it, other than something hand-wavey like access:conditonal=private @ "school hours" ... I'm not sure if any data consumers even do anything with freeform conditionals like that.
42025-05-01 18:02commentedmewhenthe
♦66
Would access:conditonal=private @ Mo-Fr 08:15-15:35 work? Just assuming this based off of their bell schedule on their website, doesn't really cover edge cases (eg. half days, days closed for holidays, etc.) I found their bell schedule here: https://cphs.leanderisd.org/campus_information/bell-schedules
52025-05-17 16:22commentedCurlingMan13
♦51,134
I believe this is a valid tag. Not our problem certain consumers can't handle it (yet) access:conditonal=private @ "school hours"
62025-05-17 17:33commentedmewhenthe
♦66
I disagree. "school hours" is just a value rather than something useful in the eyes of a data processor. It's up to them whether they show it or not. While it's not wrong, unless they have AI to detect what times are "school hours", it'll likely get filtered out as bloat/bad data. I don't think either tag would inherently be bad per say, it's just both have flaws in terms how they're handled.
72025-05-17 19:37closedcitrula
♦113
I took a closer look at opening_hours syntax and I don't think freeform input for the rule (like I suggested above) is valid. I propose the following tagging: access=private access:conditional=permissive @ Mo-Fr 00:00-08:15,15:35-24:00; Sa-Su this way it is assumed private with permissive access outside of school hours.

access:conditional=permissive @ Mo-Fr 00:00-08:15,15:35-24:00; Sa-Su sounds like it'll work much better than what I suggested before. Potentially throwing on Public Holidays (PH for syntax) would be good too. Can't recall the last time a school didn't let students out during a public holiday. For me, I think this'll work best: access:conditional=permissive @ Mo-Fr 00:00-08:15,15:35-24:00; Sa-Su; PH ...but to each their own.

I tend to agree, just haven't had a chance to look around in person, was hoping for a sign or something. I checked historical aerial imagery and it's been dammed since the 1930s (!!)
42025-04-29 23:44commentedkaleidoscopica

Oh neat, that was going to be my guess. Usually when I'm mapping more rural waterways there's always some old ranch with a long-dammed up "[Ranch or Family Name] Lake" along the stream. This is probably the same! A quick search did also find the Austin Travels Magazine still calling it that in more recent years: https://www.facebook.com/austintravelsmag/photos/a-blue-heron-perches-on-a-log-in-walsh-lake-along-the-new-3-mile-brushy-creek-no/1195145819283021/
