♦81		So the situation with this gate... It runs north-east - south-west across the path, parallel to westwood/perpendicular to the footpath. The gate is locked unless SCC Park Rangers want to use it. There are pedestrian-sized gaps on either side of it (you can fit a bike down it, and I think you could fit a wheelchair). These are always-open to the public. I'd like to map the gate as a path rather than a node, but the wiki says that needs to be attached to a fench on either side. I wonder if I can attach it to a pair of `barrier=entrance` nodes on either side? Otherwise I'll have map the wall behind the properties and the fence around the gas plant, and attach it+entrance to those.

♦81		Hiya sorry for not replying quickly. My idea re: mapping it differently, is to indicate that... in effect there is gate surrounded by two gaps, rather than a gate across the whole path that can be opened by a pedestrian. In hindsight - it [the gate itself] would still be a node not a way, and just have two ways surrounding it? But now that I think about all of this, I can see that yes - this is in effect tagged/mapped correctly. Anyone who sees this as "oh there's a gate, but pedestrians can go through (foot=yes) will just have a nice surprise when they actually come to it. Happy to close.

I think the owner of the two buildings (think the original was way #1429497044) at the road has split their property into two, one of which is 73 and the other is 73a. ♦81		So did a survey today, took photos but annoyingly can't upload from my gallery in StreetComplete. The property shaped here is some garage/shed. The "new" property, that is on the road, - the east-side of it, used to be garage/car-port/drive, is now converted, and has the number "73". It appears to be a business premises for spacepad: http://spacepad.co.uk/ This is physically joined to a garage (for 71?) on the east side. The west-side is the property "73a" and is an actual residential property. They actually have a website with the portfolio and interior shots: https://whitshawbuilders.co.uk/projects/riverdale-road/ This is not physically joined to 73, although there is only approx. 5cm between them. It's also not physically attached to 75.

♦519		Probably always best to be conservative. Technically most manufacturers list that each one could handle 2 bikes either side. However I think the current capacity of 4 is a good one given the pedals can interfere when the racks are next to each other and any capacity number should account for the worst case widest bikes that would still be reasonable.

Where does it run instead? The Uni shuttle http://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/1775794#map=17/52.77303/-1.20776 is even more confused - again there's a gap for Swan Street, but it also seems to get confused to the northwest.

♦81		Needs surveying, but anecdotal evidence: all buses that stop at the bus stops along the Rushes/Swan Street, *have* to then turn onto Derby/Ashby Square; from there what they do varies from route to route - again, would need to survey.

♦81		The angle on Bridge Street southbound into The Rushes westbound is in slightly the wrong location - and is at more of a 90 degree angle. Right-turners from bridge street are on the left side of the island and turn right from there. It's more like a T junction with a pair of left-turn slips. Photo is accurate. Will attempt to make an accurate survey next time I'm out in town
