None of the links on the wikidata on https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/34493218 mention any "Bont Felindre" or "Pont Felindre" so I suspect it's just the user translating names themselves. If a survey yields no welsh/english name I'd suggest deleting them, or moving to loc_name if either name can be sourced but not verified on the ground.

I disagree with using loc_name here as Welsh and English should be treated as equally as possible. A name in one language or the other, in my opinion, shouldn't be considered an unofficial slang name.

♦56		Passed by. The sign that was on the western end of the area on Stubbing Brink saying permissive path (visible on Google Street View in April 2023) no longer present. Met a man at the gate on the eastern end at the top of the steps who informed me I was on private land so I turned tail back down to the canal. Path present on the ground (and well maintained). I couldn't see any signage either way at either end of the path about the path's present access status but evidently something has changed on the ground since April if the 'permissive path' sign has disappeared.

♦81		So the situation with this gate... It runs north-east - south-west across the path, parallel to westwood/perpendicular to the footpath. The gate is locked unless SCC Park Rangers want to use it. There are pedestrian-sized gaps on either side of it (you can fit a bike down it, and I think you could fit a wheelchair). These are always-open to the public. I'd like to map the gate as a path rather than a node, but the wiki says that needs to be attached to a fench on either side. I wonder if I can attach it to a pair of `barrier=entrance` nodes on either side? Otherwise I'll have map the wall behind the properties and the fence around the gas plant, and attach it+entrance to those.

My idea re: mapping it differently, is to indicate that... in effect there is gate surrounded by two gaps, rather than a gate across the whole path that can be opened by a pedestrian. In hindsight - it [the gate itself] would still be a node not a way, and just have two ways surrounding it? But now that I think about all of this, I can see that yes - this is in effect tagged/mapped correctly. Anyone who sees this as "oh there's a gate, but pedestrians can go through (foot=yes) will just have a nice surprise when they actually come to it. Happy to close.

The name is currently on a way https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/176700554 . The way is also shown as the map of Yorkshire Sculpture Park on the wikipedia article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yorkshire_Sculpture_Park. This currently has its northwest corner here where the note is, but clearly the Yorkshire Sculpture Park includes much more to the West of here. All the gallery buildings. The red car park etc. I notice the name is also on a node https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/248642184 as a tourism=attraction which is probably a good tag to use. The way is tagged as a nature reserve, which is not really a good description of it (YSP is a big outdoor gallery/park). Maybe _this part_ of the YSP is a nature reserve although it's mostly just a field with sheep in it (and sculptures!). I think it is called the "old deer park". The bit around the lake is more of a nature reserve and does not have sculptures. There's also Bretton Hall Country Park, which I think is mapped correctly. Much wider area: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/184627155 So the paths around the lake are clearly part of Bretton Hall Country Park, but I'm not sure if they count as part of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Solar panels can be seen in Bing imagery, and have been mapped, on neighbouring properties, but I can't see any in the Bing imagery where they've been mapped for this particular property. Checking the Mapbox Satellite imagery also doesn't show solar panels here. However, since I'm aware that imagery layers can be out of date, I left this note in the hope that somebody local could go out and check the accuracy of the mapping here.

Short of sending up a drone, or asking the occupants of the houses in question, it will be a case of trying to catch a glimpse between buildings on Carr Road instead. It does look as if these have simply been misidentified from aerial imagery though.
