IMHO I'm not sure what the fixme tag is good for other than a small issue that can be resolved at a later date but the current data is "acceptable for now" however you want to interpret it. It would be nice for anyone to have information added to actually supply that information when red X'ing. Saying something is blank or wrong and not saying what the problem is...frustrating. But yeah overpass queries or any software that uses that is the general way to find unnamed buildings. Even streetcomplete has a challenge to name/fix and possibly even find outdated data. I just find it redundant to red x/flag a unnamed building or street. However if one notices a building or streetname is simply wrong or obsolete, then red x'ing it is very appropriate as there's no way for a computer to know (perhaps with AI?) Okay off my soapbox. Take with grain of salt. What I say here does not imply other people of OSM agree with me, but in general I think it would make general mappers' lives easier. Again having an X is not bad, just that having too many of them that would take forever to resolve just pollutes the map.
