♦699		It seems obvious from Bing that there is no connection for vehicles. But it looks likely that there is a pedestrian connection. The noexit tag can't really be safely applied in this case, unless somebody knows for sure that there is no connection of any type. It's a slightly silly tag anyway IMHO, but that's another argument. I've improved some of the geometry of these estates to make it clearer where there are turning circles. For this particular road pair I've created a bit more space between them, which should make things clearer. If anybody has local knowledge, it would be useful to get a footway mapped if the gap is passable by pedestrians.

The path is visible on the latest google earth imagery. And yes the GAA club has two pitches, the north pitch is 1/2 in the Colaiste grounds Thanks

♦38		OK, resolved as best I can. In brief, for most routing applications there is an issue with routing to a large area, rather than a point. If an area is chosen, the application determines the "middle" of the area and takes you too the nearest point accessible from the road. For the airport, the middle is near where the runways cross, and the nearest road to that is Matthew Hill on the W. The workaround is explained here: [https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/specify-an-entrance-to-an-airport/119922] - basically put "Cork Airport" in the name of the terminal and car parks in the hope that routing users will select tone of those. The changesets which resolve this comment are 157671635 and 157719071.

Colloquially, people will say things like "Capel Street Bridge" or "Mount Street Bridge" for some Dublin bridges, simple because they don't know the name. This happens for a few Liffey bridges, but not Butt Bridge. It happens for many of the canal bridges. This is more an example of a metonymy or maybe loc_name=* and NOT name=*. In Dublin, roads tend to change names at the rivers / canals, even if that change is as slight a change as Baggot Street Upper and Baggot Street Lower and hence the bridge does NOT have the name of the roads.
