The billboards advertise they will open in Nov 2025 and I think thats possible. I can see a lot of VANs entering built site for interior finish (painting, furniture, etc).

"New Road" was only built in the mid-20th century, hence it being 'new'. Before that, there was only a boreen for part of the distance and Balcarrick was only accessible under the low railway bridge on Coast Road (aka Back Corballis Road) or by foot from Portraine. Look at the Fingal roads schedule at L2170, L21701, L21705, L6165, L61687. Use of alt_name=* might be useful.

♦702		It seems obvious from Bing that there is no connection for vehicles. But it looks likely that there is a pedestrian connection. The noexit tag can't really be safely applied in this case, unless somebody knows for sure that there is no connection of any type. It's a slightly silly tag anyway IMHO, but that's another argument. I've improved some of the geometry of these estates to make it clearer where there are turning circles. For this particular road pair I've created a bit more space between them, which should make things clearer. If anybody has local knowledge, it would be useful to get a footway mapped if the gap is passable by pedestrians.

The path is visible on the latest google earth imagery. And yes the GAA club has two pitches, the north pitch is 1/2 in the Colaiste grounds Thanks

There is still a path missing that goes from the North entrance of the Coláiste as far as the junction where the R300 meets the L16026 at Carheen - about 100 metres north of the Coláiste north entrance. All the new developments can be seen very clearly on Google Earth - May 2025, if you need a clearer idea of what I’m describing. Thanks, Tomás
