Even those who have lived downtown for decades are unaware of its existence due to confusion of name & lack of accurate info online & maps! The off leash dog park feels like a hidden gem within this multi purpose park community! Thanks to the smart city planning, the numerous community park features here are a natural integration into the greenway that becomes Waterfront Park. The dog park is too easy to miss even on foot; it’s much larger than shown, completely fenced in & offers an added small dog area within larger park. Several water fountains for people & dogs, benches, trash cans & dog poop dispensing bags. Parking available where Tradd St dead ends at 80 East Bay St, where the historical site & marker for the old walled city, becomes cobblestone area ,“South Adger’s Wharf”.

I'll try to break your description into some specific map issue: 1) Regarding the park name, it would be the practice of OpenStreetMap to "map what's on the ground". If there signage at the park that says "Hazel Parker Playground", that's what it should be on the map. Is this correct? I can assign "Hazel Park" as an alternate name if that's what you hear people calling it. 2) Regarding dog park, it is currently marked as having extents bounded by a 5 ft fence as shown in the link below. If this is inaccurate, I'd suggest you mark specifically, with an additional note or notes, where the fence should be move. I've reviewed two sources of commercial imagery and don't think I can improve this without information from on-the-ground. https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/940446336 3) A fair number of trash cans and benches are on the map. Feel free to note the locations of additional park features individually, and we can add them. 4) Is this the place you mention parking? It looks properly marked as parking. But OSM allows for locations to have multiple names, so I added the lesser known "loc_name" tag with "Hazel Park" so people searching for it in apps can also find it by that name.

♦3,264		First we have no idea how often or what Tesla pulls from OpenStreetMap, so changing it here may not fix your issue or could take a while to hit an update in their system. Notifying Tesla may be a better course of action. The "turn restriction" is a general term for the restriction on the turns (no left, only left, only straight, no u-turn, etc). I added a restriction to prevent going left out of the parking lot onto Gum Branch Road.

♦3,264		Well access (private/public) is a different tag. The road classification tags are the different use cases and affect rendering and routing. Track roads are usually very rough, rarely used, and poorly maintained and you usually want to have off roading capabilities. Since you say cars, bikes and motorcycles can likely use it, I changed it to an unpaved service road.

Heading SW, it turns from one single lane into 2, with one being a turn lane to go into the parking lot of the Walgreens here. The straight lane continues along and then splits into a left turn and a straight at the light. My car registers the Walgreens parking lot as the left turn lane at the light, and will get over early just to narrowly avoid hitting the median while also confusing traffic behind me thinking I am turning into the Walgreens. I took a few hours and simplified the structure. I reworked the lane counts, turn lanes, placement and change lane tags. I redid the turn restrictions to use ways as vias.

♦3,264		You can see the history of a node in the web editor by hitting ctrl+shift+h. But to answer your question, most of the churches came from an import which sometimes had them in the wrong location. Just drag them to the correct location. Sometimes nodes aren't attached to buildings because it helps with routing if the nodes are closer to the entrance or the area to park. I have updated this church for you. Don't be afraid to make changes if something is obviously wrong.

♦4		Did not, I was using StreetComplete and had a nasty screen glare so I couldn't quite see where the path went. I see that there is a bump in the sidewalk path but I'm not sure if there is a better way to notate this for people with low vision/visual impairment. The curb is a steep drop-off to a storm drain but the regular sidewalk just continues out to the curb, as you can see in the photo. It might not be possible to mark this as a hazard but I just wanted to flag it in case it was possible. I am very new to OSM contributing so I apologize for my ignorance.

♦2		I can't figure out why this is happening, but, in a specific app I use for navigation that uses OSM data, when I try to go south on I-271 and then transition to SR 8, it has me exit the highway and then take Northfield Rd south to connect with SR 8 south. It does a similar thing when going northbound in the opposite direction. I noticed when routing using the OSM engine, this does not happen. When I switched to the Grasshopper engine, it did happen. I am not advanced enough to determine the issue or correct it. Any help would be appreciated.

♦164		I am guessing it has to do with inferred speed of the road segments. When looking at your linked example if you use custom model under settings for that GraphHopper route and increase the "distance_influence": from default of 15 to say 30 then it does the shorter route. The two routes are very close in distance, but the routing engine is determining the one you consider "less optimal" to be slightly faster. It is a very long exit/entrance ramp, if the routing engine defaults the ramp to a slower speed then it may think that route is slower.

♦3,264		Ok, I looked into it. Nothing was massively incorrect. The likely problem is the app you're using isn't properly penalizing traffic lights. I did the following to encourage the faster route: 1. Reduced the location of where the 50 mph advisory starts and ends so the faster route has 65 mph for a higher percentage of time. 2. Added a curve hazard to the tight 25 mph ramp. 3. Added 65 mph speed limits to the ramps and left the 50 mph as an advisory. This hopefully will be enough to get all the routers to use the faster route.

♦4,022		How to tag? This is a plot of land empty from development with a number of trees, but scattered closer to the road (the natural wood ends halfway through as tagged). Given its unused state, the grass and scrub is overgrown, though it still *could* probably be considered landuse=grass with the scattered trees mapped separately. I tagged it tentatively as a scrub with surface=grass which I'm sure is the wrong tag. landuse=greenery seems wrong, as does a meadow, grassland, park, wood, and anything else I could find. Note: The other "undeveloped sites" (Merion Square, Williamson, Black Rock) are more densely tree covered so could be tagged as wood or forest.

♦3,264		My rule of thumb for grass with individual trees is if if they're mowing under it. If they plan or building on it, it could be greenfield. All natural landuse is a little fuzzy, don't stress too much about it. Most of the landuse will be woods, scrub and grass.

♦3,264		The line between scrub and woods is very blurry. Grass in the NE typically means it's being maintained and mowed or possibly grazed. If they aren't mowing it, grass will become scrub over time, and scrub will become woods. All the categories have blurry edges and change over time. So if you're not sure tag it as the one you'll think it'll become.

Navigation instructs to make a left at the entrance but there is no left turn there. In order to get in, you have to take the jughandle prior to the entrance which is called Cali Drive. ♦3,264		Well there's the problem, all those maps aren't sourcing from OSM. Well Waze and Apple used to. Tesla sources some things. Google maps is completely separate. You'd have to let each of them know it's an issue. I recommend CoMaps (or OsmAnd) which sources from OSM. I just confirmed the route works on CoMaps. Since I just added that building's footprint and address, you should see it show up within the next month.
