There is clearly no culvert at your 'noted' location, and 800m NW along Kilkivan-Tansey Rd at the large culvert there is a 'Gap Creek' stream name sign (DTMR normally do a good job of checking the stream names before erecting signs!) I have checked out the Qld Globe mapping (incl its topo layers) and it seems to add to the confusion, by showing Gap Creek AND Oaky Creek north-east of the K-T Rd. So, as there is no existing culvert at your 'noted' location, I have disconnected the stream and its crossing of the K-T Rd and redirected it towards the western side of K-T Rd. It probably flows NW and joins to that Gap Creek(?) stream, and flows under K-T Rd 800m NW. Further, the stream north-west of the K-T Rd should probably all be named Oaky Creek? Just don't have the complete confidence to map this though! Well at least what I have done is 'less wrong' than what it was!?! How this sort of helps Cheers | |
