Like a Flock camera but I don't see any branding on it besides city police. Unsure how to tag so I have done camera:mount=pole for now. I'm not familiar enough with these to fill in the rest at all. via StreetComplete_ee 63.21 |

~ 2 days ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | I placed the note after adding the POI, explaining the missing information in case someone more knowledgeable than me could add it. However a few days after I made the edit, the camera was removed and replaced with a permanent one in the median of the road between the two red lights to the North. I'll leave this open until I'm able to move the POI and edit it to be correct to what the camera is now, in case someone with more time than me gets to it first. |
~ 1 day ago | closed | IonicBond ♦107 | I was mistaken. That permanent camera (13370730906) was already there and mapped eight months ago. The camera I mapped was moved shortly after mapping. I do not know where it was moved to and I don't think it can be told apart from others, so I do not think this node (14071558475) is worth keeping. I have removed the node for this POI. If anyone has better ideas, you are welcome to revert this changeset (187608466) and apply your own. |

1 | ~ 2 years ago | opened | IonicBond ♦107 | How do I add and tag this catwalk?
~ 2 years ago | commented | gpserror ♦11,931 | if it's public and accessible by the sidewalks (i.e. public use) i'd tag as a bridge and connect to sidewalk. if it is only for building users to use (i.e. private) i'd add it as another, skinny building of some type (building if enclosed, roof if not) and tag at level 1. |
~ 2 years ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | Thank you! I finally checked this. I'd like to properly tag it with what floor it's on, but it's third floor on the parking lot side and second floor on the other side. It's the same level, no incline, just different sized stories on each building. I'm still not sure about access though, I'll have to check for a sign. |
~ 2 years ago | commented | Tex2002ans ♦320 | For catwalks, you should use both: - building:min_level - The "floor" of the catwalk starts above X floor... - building:levels - The "ceiling" of the catwalk stops on X floor... For more details, see: - https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:building:min_level - - - In this case, it looks like it is: - Just 1 floor tall. - Attaches 2nd floor of each building. So it would probably be a skinny rectangle that has: - building:min_level=1 - building:levels=2 which says: - "The floor of the catwalk starts above 1st floor." - "The ceiling of the catwalk stops at 2nd floor." |
~ 2 years ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | The issue is that this is not a multilevel catwalk. It's perfectly horizontal and is a single floor. Stories in the parking garage are significantly shorter than in the building on the other side of a the catwalk, so while perfectly level the catwalk is both on the third (in the parking garage) and second floor (in the other building), if the ground floor is considered to be the first floor. |
~ 2 years ago | commented | gpserror ♦11,931 | at this point just do it as a 2nd floor (since the street is 1st floor). Yes there is a mismatch, you can also specify min_height like min_level. Make sure 4th st has a maxheight tag I suppose. I am assuming this is private and nobody will be using it for public anonymous routing. I suspect parking garages are usually private so this is okay. |
~ 2 years ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | That makes sense to me, I'll do that once I figure out how to measure it. I'll have to count the number of floors on both buildings next time I'm over there though. This is some kind of public and private hybrid parking garage, some spots are reserved for employees of the corporate building for certain hours, ohers are reserved for apartment residents, and some are public that you can pay hourly for. |

~ 3 months ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | I have unfortunately not been in a position to volunteer much besides the occasional missing opening hours for businesses in a long time. It isn't done yet & I'm also no longer in the area. Maybe next time I'm passing through I'll be able to survey the catwalks in the city. That might be another two years though. |

| 4558556 Category: StreetComplete | 1 | ~ 1 year ago | opened | IonicBond ♦107 | OrganicMaps seems to be unable to navigate the airport through the tram system. GraphHopper is similarly unhappy. OpenStreetMap does seem to have the walkways and tram system connected, but maybe I'm looking at it wrong. I'm unsure how to fix this issue on the map. via StreetComplete_ee 59.2 |
~ 9 months ago | commented | gpserror ♦11,931 | this note gave me a good laugh though it is indeed something that should be fixed if possible. It's dependent on the routing software too I suppose. This is somewhat of a special case though really it shouldn't... |
~ 9 months ago | commented | gpserror ♦11,931 | I don't know if routing software understand what an elevator/escalator are, and I don't know how if routing software can handle commuter trains in general, will have to see how it's done in other countries where commuter trains are more prevalent despite this being a very small system compared to those... |
~ 9 months ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | Maybe it's worth experimenting with different routers & seeing which ones have this issue & which don't. If any of them are able to route through this, it must be a problem with that software & not the map. If so, this area & note could be referenced in an issue ticket. |
| 4589135 Category: unknown | 1 | ~ 1 year ago | opened | IonicBond ♦107 | There's a second building here that can't be seen well on any imagery, but I at least got the two just north of this note with the National Agriculture Imagery Program's imagery. |
~ 1 year ago | commented | dannmer ♦20,855 | Have you visited this site? The National Agriculture Imagery Program's imagery shows a mostly clearcut parcel whereas other imagery shows a wooded area. Streetside also shows a wooded area, perhaps there's some sort of development occurring at this site. |
~ 1 year ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | It looked to me like it was the same, but while the trees had no leaves. I'll have to check. |
~ 1 year ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | I just checked, but it's difficult to tell what's going on with the snow. This might have to wait until summer. |
~ 10 months ago | commented | dannmer ♦20,855 | Esri imagery shows a cleared site, tagged buildings as demolished and added construction area. Is this correct? |
~ 10 months ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | When was the imagery last updated? I was last there nine months ago & it seemed like someone's property where they had a small field, not a construction area. |
| 4936454 Category: StreetComplete | 1 | ~ 11 months ago | opened | IonicBond ♦107 | Four lane drive through from east to west. Clearance is 9'-6". The lane all the way to the south is for commercial customers. Drive through hours are the same as inside hours. 24 hour ATM access at an ATM on the fifth lane to the north, which is already on the map, a drive up ATM to the east. An ATM just inside the door is also open 24 hours for people with an ATM card, EMV card, or equivalent on their phone. via StreetComplete_ee 61.1 |
~ 11 months ago | commented | IonicBond ♦107 | I'm not sure how this got moved. I placed it on the Wells Fargo. Maybe SCEE bugged out. |
| 4925886 Category: unknown | 1 | ~ 11 months ago | opened | IonicBond ♦107 | There are buildings on this back street too, but I haven't checked to see if they're garages or sheds. Maybe I should map these as untagged areas & then try to fill them in with SCEE. I don't feel good leaving untagged areas on the map for any amount of time though. |
~ 11 months ago | closed | IonicBond ♦107 | I just realized I can tag building=yes. I usually only tag things specifically, I completely forgot about that.
