When I walked around collecting housenumbers at the time, I put additional housenumbers I didn't see in OSM onto OSM notes. It's been so long so I can't be 100% but I would've probably put in some extra comments if the 8a was obviously used for the whole house. Sometimes Staðfangaskrá puts a number for the whole house (the official designation) but the house would be marked with the number and an additional letter, or the official designation is a range but the markings on the house would denote a particular number within that range. I do want to resolve this note during this year so I'll probably go there to verify in the coming weeks/months, if nobody else has already. | |
