Coming from Via Cassone at Grotta del Coniglio there is a sign that the road is closed dating from at leat ten years ago. The full 1.9 km up to Belvedere di Calanna, where the road meets the parking lot is not paved most of the time and with really deep holes so you could only use it with a off-road vehicle, getting worse the further you drive up (walked it because we had to give up driving). The longer road coming from via cassone more to the east and ending in the parking lot at the belvedere is paved and perfectly passable.

Anche google maps per un certo periodo indicava via palermo, ma poi all'ennesima mi alamentela perchè persino le ambulanze sbagliavano strada hanno corretto. via palermo non esiste, è tutta un interno vi via catania 83. Anche via agrigento non è corretta ( la parallela a nord di "via palermo" ovvero realmente "via catania 83"). Via agrigento è anch'essa una strada privata, unica, ed il suo nome è identificato solo dal civico dell'ingresso su via catania, quindi si chiama Via catania 77. la strada via catania è una strada strana... per iltrattoche va da via cerza all'incrocio con via carducci , da un lato, quello est, è del comune di san gregorio di catania, e si chiama via catania, dal lato opposto , appartiene al comune di san giovanni la punta, e si chiama "via madonna delle lacrime". questo per incasinare ancora di più i navigatori satellitari che spesso segnano solo uno dei due nomi... ripeto: via agrigento è "via catania, civico 77", mentre via palermo è "via catania, civico 83". Le traverse interne non hanno nomi... sono soltanto strade private , e le case si identificano coi i numeri civici interni.
