Is this really a garage? It seems too big

Other than its size—which is unusual, the Calgary Land Use Bylaw doesn't typically allow for an "accessory residential building" like a garage to be larger than the 'main' building on the property—is there anything about this to suggest it's *not* a garage? Given the oddball, pie-shaped property it's on it wouldn't surprise me if the garage is extra-large to accommodate a car's turning radius in and out. It appears the entire east side is a driveway space, and I'm guessing there's a "double" door on the east wall (the long dimension) of the garage to accommodate a car getting in and out.

1~ 3 months agoopenedRob176Can someone please find out why my Facebook Marketplace home rental ad won't attach to the map address 176 Dovercliffe Way SE and correct it if possible. If you can please message me with any info that would help me. Thank you.
2~ 3 months agocommentedRob176When I click on the > icon (for location?) I get a pop up message that states "Geolocation Error-User Denied Geolocation." Do I need my Facebooks GPS on or is this an Openstreetmap setting that needs to be changed?

Yes, you need your Facebooks GPS on. Go to your phone settings, find the setting for all the apps, find facebook in the list of apps and turn on geolocation. Your issue has nothing to do with Openstreetmap.

6~ 3 months agocommentedRob176Thank you for your time and good advice. I checked my phones Facebook app GPS setting and it actually was already on. Is there some sort of link between FB and OpenStreet that's possibly not working??? TY, Rob.
7~ 2 months agocommentedRob176Still have'nt found a Solution. Thinking that possibly there has been an Openstreet change on the "Dovercliffe Area" &/or "Dovercliffe Way" which is affecting Marketplaces Profile Viewing Map from pinning to the Openstreet Public Search Map? Can that possibly be confirmed???
8~ 2 months agocommentedRob176I just tried the location icon here and now it allowed me to pin the blue location dot to my rental address where before it said location was dissallowed. Why and how could that have been??? I will edit my Marketplace ad and toggle address off & back on in the Hope's that the Mp ad profile viewing map and Openstreets public search map "Shake Hands". Will be back to report the outcome. Might have to delete and repost ad as well as give MP some extended time to be sure I'm reporting the correct results here. Who knows, it may help a lot of other's having the same issue/s. Thnx all! Rob

Facebook is not connected directly to OpenStreetMap. They periodically download changes to OpenStreetMap and review them and update their maps. https://engineering.fb.com/2019/09/30/ml-applications/mars/ You're wasting time posting here, whatever issue you're having has nothing to do with OpenStreetMap.

1~ 7 months agoopenedRob176Thanks so much Boris. Process of elimination right.👍I just edited my ad again and rechecked the address is correct and again clicked "show address" so the ad can be tagged to the map same as always when I edit it and still no go. Guess I'll look a little deeper into Facebook/Marketplace. Good to know a direction though so thanks again Boris.

1~ 8 months agoopenedRob176Please allow my "rental ad" on Face books Market Place to be tagged to my house here at 176 Dovercliffe Way SE, T2B1W7. I edited the ad and it now will not tag to the map. TY
2~ 8 months agocommentedRob176I dont know how to make changes. Could someone please Confirm the Postal Code is correct (T2B 1W7) as per my location (176 Dovercliffe Way SE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada). When I press on show my location I get a message saying "Geolocation Error: User Denied Geolocation. Not sure what that means?? Then I saw somewhere while exploring around: "Search Results Internal 51.023309,-113,979109 Nominatim T2B2E1" but mine is T2B1W7 so thinking that may be why my Facebook Marketplace Rental Ad won't tag to the Openstreet map????? It seems I have this issue each time I have to renew my ad! Thank you for the help...

Your issue seems unrelated to Open Street Map. The postal code isn't the reason the ad is not showing up. The "Geolocation Error" is because you didn't press "Allow" on your phone when it asked you if facebook can see your location, it's completely unrelated.
