The northern building houses Pepe's. The southern building previously housed a deli, but it went out of business in 2024.

But based on https://www.watertown-ma.gov/1292/Bicycling it looks like the path probably continues around the east side of the garage. I don't recall the specifics of the crossing driveway, but we did walk in that lot instead of going all the way to the curb

♦643		While passengering by (I don't map and drive :-) I saw a Nouria sign that I thought was about the hotel, but after searching the web, Nouria is a company that operates gas stations -- often Shell -- and convenience stores under their own brand. So probably this convenience store is now branded as Nouria, and perhaps someday someone ocal will be able to see that.

In my edit I only changed the name of the piece of road to the right of the barrier, as the note said. So the name of the section I linked above should be investigated.

♦4,450		Thanks. That explains why it looked like construction. The cycleway is already tagged on River Street (https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/799519915). The way in question was added 6 months ago (https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/161732793). If a new cycleway is being put in that is separate from the road (i.e. it is not a bike lane) then it should stay. If they are just updating the cycleway which is a bike lane in the street, then the way should be deleted.
