I tried going further but ended up in the yard of a metal working business. I sneaked through this but there are just thick trees and brambles where this path once was. It is a shame, route of old railway. I really hoped to find it. |

| 3 | ~ 10 months ago | commented | Hugh Shipman | I may not be back for a while. I see that it is marked on the Google Maps aerial photo, you can see the metal company yard I had to climb around in. I could try from the other end. But even without piles of scrap metal, it is massively overgrown and totally impassable. I would have pushed through anything I could, rather than turn around and climb back through that companies heaps of metal! | |

| 5 | ~ 10 months ago | commented | Hugh Shipman | Thanks, i'll eventually report on the other end of the path. Its a same its not there, in the middle is a railway bridge over the beek. It would really be something the gemeente could do for the people to reopen it. | |

| 7 | ~ 10 months ago | commented | kabelhaai ♦2,490 | Oh there is probably a report button on their website. Otherwise email. If it is "public property" it should be cleared indeed. It looks like it is actually mapped in the "wegenregister". | |
| 8 | ~ 10 months ago | commented | Hugh Shipman | I reported the state of the two entries at the southern end. There is no way in, from both sides there are fences and paths terminate inside private property. These notes have been resolved by your colleague Jakka. So the facts on the ground are that the railway is impassably overgrown and terminates inside private property. If it is your opinion that this is public property, I would like to make a complaint. Would you point me to the website to do this? | |

| 10 | ~ 10 months ago | commented | Hugh Shipman | Chemin Lutun path entry is gated and fenced sign: "private property". Chemin du Bon Coin path does not join to road. Terminates inside reservoir property which has impassable high fence. There is no way into old rail line from South Side for the public. Your colleague says amendments are/will be made. | |

It's important to know that this section is closed for safety reasons, as it runs along unsecured water holes, while the RAVeL section can be built. For now, and for an indefinite period, this area remains inaccessible and dangerous. The fact that it is marked as "private" is because the path passes through former brickworks, not metallurgy sites. The path will continue on the other side once the necessary budgets are available to complete the project. | |
| 12 | ~ 8 months ago | reopened | kabelhaai ♦2,490 | Thank you for your detailed explanation. > Closed for safety reasons I would not mind turning off the path temporarily off osm, for the time being, by using disused: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Lifecycle_prefix > path passes through former brickworks, not metallurgy sites. Is the current factory still operational (industrial zone) or brownfield? > constructed when budgets are available please do not hesitate to let us know when such works begin and finish :) | |
