Thanks for the photos. I have been tagging these with surface=metal_grid, so I can do that here if nobody has a better idea. The holes are smaller than in the wiki definition, and it seems to have a grippier surface. The metal_grid tag seems to be a recent invention, not supported by any of the usual renderers. Previously I used surface=metal, which is supported better.

Hi Vadmium, I probably should have been more descriptive. I think it might be recycled plastic like some newer park benches and parking poles are made out of. Super grippy, I don't imagine anyone would slip on in the rain. Would hurt if you fell on it like concrete.
4~ 5 months agocommentedVadmium
♦591
I had a closer look and yes it appears to be made of plastic or resin with added grippy surface. What about just tagging these with surface=paved, to be clear it’s not a dirt path or similar?

Tagged the bridges with <https://wiki.osm.org/wiki/Tag:surface=fibre_reinforced_polymer_grate>, a new option apparently invented at the start of this year

Is this the case all the way from deep lead to the southern intersection?
3~ 8 months agocommentedPvtStitches
♦22
No, that seems to be the only bit there. Seems to be that it may have once been a path but not anymore. It's also blocked off by a fence. I stopped to take a photo, but I don't know how to upload it to you/map.

Thanks PVT. Can you add another comment where the fence is if this isn't it and other comments where the track is visible and where it goes to bush please?

Hi Ewen, the fence is about 2-3 metres from the road and runs along it so that whole section looks like it's private property. You can't see a track anymore. It's bush on west side of the property where the marker is, and in the property boundaries, there's mowed grass and trees here and there, so someone maintains it. I think the residence is accessible by Sylvan Road.

Thanks - I have removed the track from view. Appreciate all your follow up comments.
