| 2 | ~ 3 months ago | commented | John Aizle ♦68 | These two developments should be finished by now but appear to be abandoned because nobody is buying. So the two cycle and foot paths either side of the Parkway remain unfinished. On the South side the fences have been pulled down so you can walk from one end to the other, but its a rough surface and your clearly not meant to, so I have not mapped it. Nothing in these two areas has changed or is finished so there is nothing new to map. The local I talked to is not happy about it! | |

| 5045041 Category: Spam | 1 | ~ 8 months ago | opened | John Aizle ♦68 | I'm going to delete these confusing, poorly mapped and pointless rooftop parking aisles and playground pathways unless somebody comes up with a good reason why they should stay. As someone who has walked through the Alhambra Centre hundreds of times and even parked in the multi storey I have never been on the roof or feel the need to know in advance how to drive around it, which this mapping doesn't help with at all. What I want to know is how can I walk around the shops, where are the stairs and elevators? These parking aisles and paths have no level or indoor tags and so do not conform to the Wiki rules for 3D buildings. Removing them would allow someone else to properly map the indoor layout. If the whole building was just a car park then it would make sense, but it's just the roof and if you want to know how to drive around the roof you would be better of looking at g**gle 3D view. So I will delete them and just put the entrance and exit to the car park in the right places. |
| 2 | ~ 7 months ago | closed | John Aizle ♦68 | I have made the proposed changes including converting the rooftop hut to the glass roof it actually is. Removed car park name as on most renders it is obliterating the name of the shopping centre, which I would argue is more important. Thought about shrinking it to just the East end where most of the cars actually park but didn't. Added car park entrances and exits. I'm not likely to do anything else to the Alhambra Centre unless I've made a mistake (as usual!). | |

| 5000506 Category: Spam | 1 | ~ 9 months ago | opened | John Aizle ♦68 | There's an end of cycle route sign here facing South and on the other side a standard cycle route sign facing North. We do not have a cycle route on the East side of Broadway but we do on the West that goes nowhere. Think the West side route should be removed North of Woodland Drive as there are no signs at all and a new route added from the marked cycle crossing near Woodland Drive all the way to Dodworth Road on the East side of Broadway, connecting with the marked route out of Horizon. At face value the "end of cycle route" sign implies that there is a route on standard paths from the South to this point and then no route the short distance to the Dodworth Rd crossing which is just the same as the paths to the South. It makes no sense to have a gap here. There's either a route all the way on the East side or there isn't. Also new cycle paths need adding around Penny Pie Park. |
| 2 | ~ 9 months ago | commented | John Aizle ♦68 | Now thinking that there should be no cycle routes North of the South end of Woodland Drive on Broadway as there are only standard width paths. If I want to go North the best way is through Horizon which is a designated public footpath, with no gates, to cross into East Penny Pie Park and then onto Pogmoor Recreation Ground via the bridge. OR all the way around Moorland Avenue. Thank you for your attention to this matter! | |
| 3 | ~ 8 months ago | commented | John Aizle ♦68 | I removed the unsafe cycle way from the top of Broadway. Regardless if technically this is a cycle way or not, as a fully grown cyclist I would not feel comfortable riding the pavement here. Penny Pie Park cycle ways to do. | |
| 4 | ~ 8 months ago | closed | John Aizle ♦68 | Added the new cycle ways around Penny Pie Park which could be added to the local cycle network relation. Apparently "end of route" signs could mean the start or end of a route depending on whether you are already on a route or not. The orientation of the sign is random and meaningless. | |

I'm not a tree expert so the types of tree may need changing. There has been a population explosion of metal benches in Locke Park recently (see the bandstand) and they also need adding plus the bins. |

I know there is one at the café. | |
