In fact there is a white line on street that defines a right lane(for turning right onto Governor) and a lane to the left for turning left onto Governor. Tesla navigation always positions car in left lane even to turn right. This creates a dangerous accident scenario where car in rear that intends to turn right, moves up into right lane to turn right as Tesla tries to also turn right from left/center lane. |

I am asking because on the satellite images and on Bing Streetside there is an additional lane visible that goes along the whole Lipmann Street, but the lane stops shortly before the stop line. So it doesn't seem to be a turning lanes. For turning lanes the white lines are usually connected to the stop line and there should be arrows painted.

So human drivers typically navigate to this “right” lane for making right turns thus essentially tracking curb. Drivers intending to turn left, navigate to “formal” lane on left, hugging center dividing line at the intersection stop sign allowing cars behind that want to turn right space to move up w/o having to wait for car making left to actually turn onto Governor. With FSD, car always positions car in the formal left side position when turning right onto Governor. This creates potential accident situation as cars behind with human drivers, likely to move up to open right lane area to prepare to turn right. In terms of newly painted lines, these streets in the neighborhood get frequent repaves and new painted lines so satellite imagery may be out of date. This is similar to issue I noted on exit lanes out of Sprouts market at Governor/Scripps street intersection. The response I got from Openstreetnap community was that intersection is mapped correctly so issue likely a FSD or alternate map source error. Since the road has no painted right-turn lane, OpenStreetMap generally won't show a right-turn lane. In a previous comment, you were concerned about the way "Tesla navigation" handled the intersection. Please share your feedback with the vehicle's manufacturer.

There is a traffic light here and exit driveway has TWO lanes. Right lane for right turn only. Left turn for straight or left on green light. Tesla navigation always tries to turn right from LEFT lane to execute a U turn on Governor to proceed East on Governor to my home. Car thinks there is only 1 exit lane and right turn only. Exit lanes line up with Scripps Street at intersection controlled by lights. |

Routing works here on OpenStreetMap. This either a problem with Tesla navigation or Tesla just doesn't use this data from OpenStreetMap.
