Hi, Welcome to OSM. The most recent aerial photography we have for this area is 2021 and street level photography from 2020 on the main road. Can you let us know where each of these details (pedestrian / cycle path; Carheen Lane; pedestrian bridge) are? I've added detail to the schools and GAA ground - you might need to do a 'hard refresh' of your web browser. Can I check if the GAA club has one or two pitches?
3~ 1 year agocommentedT0massHi the second path goes from the north gate of Colaiste Muire to 50 metres past the first left hand turn on the R300 The path is very wide, almost wider than the road, along the right hand side of the road. The path is visible on the latest google earth imagery. And yes the GAA club has two pitches, the north pitch is 1/2 in the Colaiste grounds Thanks
4~ 1 year agocommentedT0massEdit: the GAA club as of 2024 has three pitches now, behind the club house there is an large astro-turf pitch, shed, and handball alley. The road south the GAA club links up with the footpath around the pitch there Thanks

I instated a path roughly as you said, is this correct now? Does it join up with access to the GAA by following the R300 south at all? As for the additional astro/handball pitch, it might be best wait until we have fresh opensource imagery available.
6~ 11 months agocommentedT0massYes everything you’ve updated is correct. There is still a path missing that goes from the North entrance of the Coláiste as far as the junction where the R300 meets the L16026 at Carheen - about 100 metres north of the Coláiste north entrance. All the new developments can be seen very clearly on Google Earth - May 2025, if you need a clearer idea of what I’m describing. Thanks, Tomás

Is this a runway? Straight, part on embankment (you don't do that for a farm track), gap in power lines at north end, buildings don't quite look like farm buildings.
2~ 2 months agocommentedT0massYes it's an airstrip runway
