1 | ~ 10 years ago | opened | SomeoneElse ♦6,426 | There are a few "disused:railway=abandoned" here, such as http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/234864091/history . What exactly are they? A railway=disused is normally "still visible on the ground, rails intact"; railway=abandoned is normally "still visible on the ground, rails gone"; the "disused" prefix normally means (on e.g. an amenity or shop) that the physical thing is still there but no longer does the original purpose. See comment on http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/33714018
~ 9 years ago | commented | --- | It used to be railway sidings but as can be seen from the fact that houses are being built here any trace in the ground is long gone |
~ 8 years ago | commented | --- | Monmouthshire Bank used to be the marshalling yard for Newport Docks and river wharfs. Houses now referred to as "Mon Bank." Land to the west of Mendalgief Road Was occupied by Steelworks (fabrication, etc) such as Whiteheads and Godins etc. Pigpen 26 Oct 17 |

1 | ~ 2 years ago | opened | okwithmydecay ♦1,491 | The Esri imagery shows a blue cycle crossing and red pedestrian crossing, which I've confirmed with a ground survey. I've mapped this as a single segregated crossing, but would it be better to make a separate crossing for each?
~ 2 years ago | commented | kitsee ♦525 | it depends, how seperated are they from eachother and do they lead to seperate places. like does the cycle crossing lead to a dedicated cycle way or just out into a open square with the foot crossing. if so then just leave them together with segregated=yes |

~ 5 months ago | commented | ZenPhil ♦45 | I think this can be closed. As kitsee says, the route is marked as segregated=yes. From my experience the route is shared (ie. the lights operate for both cycles and pedestrians, and goes in the same direction) but does have a degree of separation (ground paint). |
~ 3 months ago | closed | okwithmydecay ♦1,491 | I've mapped the cycle crossing separately as it connects with.a cycle path https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/183881504 |

~ 5 months ago | commented | ZenPhil ♦45 | Have marked as old_name=Ebeneezer Chapel, removed Christian religon tag (no longer the case), but retained naming to acknowledge its historic identity while now mapped as a mosque. Think that's probably enough to close this but open to suggestions. |
