1~ 9 months agoopenedjonesmwAt El Rico Airport (68CL), the land around the runways and fields is currently mapped as part of Lake Tulare. However, I checked Bing’s aerial imagery and this area is dry farmland with a small rural airport, not water. Tulare Lake does flood in wet years, but the water polygon here is much too large and incorrectly covers the airport property. Please review and adjust the water polygon so that the airport and surrounding farmland are not marked as water.

I took a stab at it - the airport is marked as historic/abandoned though - is that correct?
3~ 9 months agocommentedjonesmwI believe that is correct based on this: https://www.airfields-freeman.com/CA/Airfields_CA_Fresno_SE.htm I am not very familiar with OpenStreetMap (why I made the note), when I view the area at higher LODs the lake is now gone. However, at lower LODs the lake is still there, is that expected?

it takes a little while for all the layers to render and caches to clear. force reloading in your browser can help but the only solution is time.
