There are still nodes for the Costco Food https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/12718358283 and Tire Center https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/12718358285 I don't know if these are there again or not. If they are no longer there, these nodes could be completely deleted instead of just being marked as "disused:shop".

| 2 | ~ 6 months ago | commented | cuzi ♦7,367 | First you would need to find out, if the satellite images themselves are shifted, or if the OpenStreetMap data is shifted (or both). I am not familiar with this area, but at first glance it looks to me like some of the satellite images are not correctly aligned and the OpenStreetMap data is actually more correct. You can find out which one is correct by looking at GPS traces. If you are editing in the browser, you can open the "Background Settings" by pressing "b" and then scroll down and tick the box at "OpenStreetMap GPS traces". They traces show up as colored lines on the map then. You have to find an area close by where someone has created GPS traces, ideally multiple traces. I see some at the bikepath at the river. It looks to me like the GPS traces align with OpenStreetMap bikepath but not with the Bing Maps Aerial satellite images. | |

It seems to me that the "Esri World Imagery" is also misaligned, but when you zoom in very close, they show a more detailed image, that is also better aligned.
