You cannot copy shops locations from Google Maps, but you can go on walk and add some of them. Or map remotely, there is Bing Streetside imagery in some places. Or map buildings remotely. Creating note flood is simply not useful, or even harmful. closing not needed onosm note Iran is simply flooded with them - with so many that people started closing notes in Iran solely for being old, and over 60 000 notes were closed in 2023. It is better to close part of this not needed flood and notes with higher chance of being useful will remain. Note that notes about missing shops are nearly useless - they do not speed up mapping, it is trivial to find missing shops nearly anywhere.
