I wasted time in this new urban sprawl looking for a way to the highway. No dice. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly where the barrier is. |
~ 20 days ago | commented | maxwellward ♦2,183 | I've added a generic barrier node near the intersection of this road and the service road, but can you check and see if it roughly makes sense based on your memory? Even if it's not perfect. Thanks! |
~ 20 days ago | closed | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | That's quite reasonable, and will help avoid future wasted time. Might've been there, might've been the other end, geez I'm getting old. Awesome quick reaction! Cheers. |

~ 20 days ago | closed | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | I can guess at the routing issue, and I know the area well. The likely stairs in question are mapped as such, so it appears there's nothing wrong with OSM data. |

| 5373635 Category: Unknown | 1 | ~ 1 month ago | opened | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | Parallel trails mis-tagged, entire distance between nearest bridges. "Shoreline" trail is foot:yes, bicycle:yes, x-c ski NO, horse yes. "Inland" trail is foot:yes, bicycle:NO, x-c ski yes, horse NO. Definitely not bicycle: designated; that's the other trail. Source: survey today, ample signage wherever trails meet. All show walking icon pointing both ways, bicycle icon pointing to "shoreline" trail only, x-c ski icon pointing to "inland" trail only. Thus, the NO rules are implied. Horse signage is at the southern end (by pedestrian bridge) only, the signage looks older, and it might be obsolete. Unsure if horses still allowed this far north from the stables. Both trails are roughly same: 2m wide, gravel. |
| 5306563 Category: Unknown | 1 | ~ 2 months ago | opened | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | Should be bicycle=dismount (if not assumed for steps) or blank, for proper routing. |
~ 1 month ago | commented | deneben ♦28 | Is there a bicycle ramp there? If so: bicycle=dismount ramp:bicycle=yes If not: bicycle=no |
~ 1 month ago | commented | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | Yes, ramp on both sides. Survey. (I use this fairly often now because of construction nearby.) |

1 | ~ 9 years ago | opened | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | This trail under the marker (Stick It Ridge) doesn't exist on the ground. It was recorded originally as a simple route, not as a real trail. In the meantime, a REAL trail has been built along this ridge, but I didn't manage to record a track log. Once somebody records and maps the real trail, this one should be removed. I can verify it doesn't exist, and the original mapper (who I discussed this with) agrees. The nearby trail mapped as "Danger" (because that's what it says on the sign) is part of the real trail, and should remain.
~ 9 years ago | commented | rhaasdyk | We recorded the Sugar Daddy trail which should be pretty accurate now, but I didn't pay attention to how the Danger trail fits into things. So this could probably use one more review / comparison to a gps trace before resolving it. |
~ 9 years ago | commented | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | Good job, thanks. I walked "Danger" from the north only as far as the turnoff to the viewpoint, and I *think* I saw where the same trail joined Sugar Daddy as I was walking along the latter, but I'm not 100% sure. (After finding off-trail geocaches farther south, somewhere around here I rejoined the new SD trail.) |
~ 5 months ago | commented | maxwellward ♦2,183 | Hi, this note is now quite old, and looking at the recent Strava heatmap there is strong usage of "Sugar Daddy" and "Sugar Pony", but virtually no usage of "Danger". Additionally, Danger does not seem to connect back up to Sugar Daddy on the map, and a perfectly straight line seems unusual for a trail here. Would it be safe to assume this trail no longer exists, despite potentially existing 10 years ago? |
~ 5 months ago | commented | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | Hi. I think "Danger" is/was a cutline, and there was a sign at the time with that word. But 9 years have passed, and I haven't been back recently. Do whatever seems reasonable. :) |
~ 5 months ago | closed | maxwellward ♦2,183 | Thanks for the quick response! I think I'll remove it for now due to the lack of use, and that it's likely been taken back by the forest. Scary that 2017 was 9 years ago... |

~ 9 months ago | commented | Rodrigo Rega ♦2,467 | This is mapped as "natural=volcano", not as peak. Should we delete it? |
~ 9 months ago | commented | Viajero Perdido ♦451 | Don't know. Could depend on whether there's a local peak here. It looked to me like an error to see the same name in two places. |
~ 8 months ago | commented | ticho2 ♦283 | One is peak (highest point), the other one is the second crater of the same volcano, as described at https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monumento_natural_de_la_Monta%C3%B1a_de_Guaza Seems correct to me the way it is now in the map. |
