This trail under the marker (Stick It Ridge) doesn't exist on the ground. It was recorded originally as a simple route, not as a real trail. In the meantime, a REAL trail has been built along this ridge, but I didn't manage to record a track log. Once somebody records and maps the real trail, this one should be removed. I can verify it doesn't exist, and the original mapper (who I discussed this with) agrees. The nearby trail mapped as "Danger" (because that's what it says on the sign) is part of the real trail, and should remain.
2~ 9 years agocommentedrhaasdykWe recorded the Sugar Daddy trail which should be pretty accurate now, but I didn't pay attention to how the Danger trail fits into things. So this could probably use one more review / comparison to a gps trace before resolving it.

Good job, thanks. I walked "Danger" from the north only as far as the turnoff to the viewpoint, and I *think* I saw where the same trail joined Sugar Daddy as I was walking along the latter, but I'm not 100% sure. (After finding off-trail geocaches farther south, somewhere around here I rejoined the new SD trail.)

Hi, this note is now quite old, and looking at the recent Strava heatmap there is strong usage of "Sugar Daddy" and "Sugar Pony", but virtually no usage of "Danger". Additionally, Danger does not seem to connect back up to Sugar Daddy on the map, and a perfectly straight line seems unusual for a trail here. Would it be safe to assume this trail no longer exists, despite potentially existing 10 years ago?

Hi. I think "Danger" is/was a cutline, and there was a sign at the time with that word. But 9 years have passed, and I haven't been back recently. Do whatever seems reasonable. :)

Thanks for the quick response! I think I'll remove it for now due to the lack of use, and that it's likely been taken back by the forest. Scary that 2017 was 9 years ago...

Peak already mapped to the east, in a more believable location (per contours, antennas). #LocusMap

This is mapped as "natural=volcano", not as peak. Should we delete it?

Don't know. Could depend on whether there's a local peak here. It looked to me like an error to see the same name in two places.

One is peak (highest point), the other one is the second crater of the same volcano, as described at https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monumento_natural_de_la_Monta%C3%B1a_de_Guaza Seems correct to me the way it is now in the map.

No longer freely accessible to vehicles. It's complicated. Road and gate tags need updating.

https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/12687619/history this hermitage is abandoned and is no longer an active place of worship, right?

I visited today. The fact that this hermitage and nearby Sant Dimes are gated suggests they're inhabited, also the fact there are many big bags of helicoptered-in firewood in front of this one.

I asked an AI. It found two sites mentioning that only two hermitages are still active above Montserrat. Seems to be local knowledge from the guides. Neither site named the active two, but I'm confident it's these two, a this marker and immediately east.

but it is not a place of worship anymore, probably?
5~ 10 months agocommentedViajero Perdido
♦442
Well, it's an inhabited (from my observation) hermitage (from the name) connected by private staircase to the big place of worship below... If hermitage means place of worship, I'd say yes.

well, maybe they converted it into secular nonreligious object
