Diversion cuts across the grass outside the county offices, along the path to Wellington Gardens, Wellington Street, Vulcan Place, along the footpath up river until crossing at Bridge Street, then back down Market Street. The diversion around the footbridge is redundant at this point of construction but seemingly still in effect anyway. |

The southeastern fork doesn't show up on Strava, so may be abandoned. As for access, I believe the whole forest is open access land. | |
