1~ 1 month agoopenedMunshisuzaWhen using OS maps in the UK to plot a hiking route Snap on is directing me to use the private track from the marked point up to Tregassow Farm instead of using the public road. Snap on also incorrectly appears to think that the whole of Tregassow tracks are public rights of way.

not sure what Snap On is but we are not allowed to use OS maps (other than the data we're allowed to use)
5~ 1 month agocommentedMunshisuzaSnap on is a device which absolutely follows the exact route of public rights of way to plot the distance you will walk in the UK. I have contacted OS Maps several times who have told me that OSM use their data but that they have no control over Snap to Path (the tools correct name). I am trying to help some friends who have hikers walking on their private land without permission.
6~ 1 month agocommentedMunshisuzaIf I am given a means of showing the problem with photographs of the maps please tell me how to do this

As of 2 days ago, these tracks have been tagged access=no, so that should resolve your issue (once the map data refreshes)
