Suchiman apparently didn't understand this or photographed the wrong place. His photo shows the street “Am Wadenberg” leading uphill from the roundabout. This street was not meant by StreetComplete. The footway that is meant is located between this street and Rheinstraße. The footway represents the sidewalk that belongs to Rheinstraße. It is mapped separately here, presumably because it is physically separated by the trees. Mapping sidewalks separately is not wrong per se; we could also solve this by adding a tag to Rheinstraße, but on this section, the previous mapper decided to map it separately. For me, all good, nothing wrong. | |

I did however fail to understand that it was a footpath and that it was placed there to make it clear that there's a treeline between the road and the sidewalk. Revisiting the place from the west side cleared that up. The new way how its mapped looks correct to me! | |
