I've been editing for several years but I've kept it basic, adding buildings and sidewalks, etc. The issue with the license for DuPage,Will Counties is attribution, which is "fixable" https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/is-this-gis-data-license-compatible-with-openstreetmap/122158

♦509		I'd sent them an email at gis@dupageco.org back in November but I never got a response. I also sent an email to the GIS division at Will County but the response wasn't helpful: "It’s not very clear what you are requesting. If you are requesting Will County street and address data that can be downloaded from our Data Store page. Our disclaimer at the bottom will explain the permitted uses of the data."
