We just sort of know :) If you do want to split up the naming of the road, you could use the southwards roads coming off it as demarcation points. Left to right: Wayside, Ingleside, Greenside, Deneside. As the southwards roads are also shared back lanes, I'm not sure how you'd name them. Arbitrarily assign each to one of the -sides? Use a slash format, e.g. Ingleside/Greenside?

So this (eastbound) bus stop no longer has pedestrian access.

There are outbuildings and conservatories that are hard to make out but I don't see anything to suggest OSM is wrong just here. It sounds like you've looked on the ground too. Checking the Bing Arial background it looks like it becomes a path when it gets closer to the museum entrance / Baring Street. I guess when it starts to leave the alignment of the old roman road it becomes a path. I think it's worth keeping this as a track, but turn the section south of this note as a path. (So the bit between the mapnote and the path between the museum entrance & Baring Street).
