Can anyone try to figure out the name of this bus stop? I can’t seem to find the ref letters anywhere online

I will do the name for now as ”Bergen busstasjon”, but if anyone finds the actual name - add it

The platforms do not have individual names. The whole area is "Bergen busstasjon". The platforms are automatically loaded from the national stop place registry. Adding stops manually should not be necessary.

The history of this node suggests it was added by nsr2osm, rather than being a manual addition. The name, however, I'm not sure about.

Aha, I see. Its in NSR, it doesnt have a letter or own name, and it is currently not used.

That sounds like everything is consistent with reality here…?

It is expected since its been added by the local authority to the offical stops database. https://stoppested.entur.org/stop_place/NSR:StopPlace:30810 If it is wrong, then it is their responsibility to remove it.

Thanks for the NSR link! I've added a disused:highway=bus_stop at https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/12670256481 (using a https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Lifecycle_prefix ) with the respective ref:nsrq to prevent further confusion. If it gets used in the future, this can then be changed on the map.

You shouldn't have :) I've just confirmed with Skyss that it can be deleted. Next nsr2osm update would have removed it if you hadn't edited it :) You can delete it now. I suspect that this particular stop was imported from Møre og Romsdal timetable data and has been left in limbo since then (M&R stopped operating a line to Bergen many many years ago)
