Incorrect, the name of the entrance refers to the street it exits onto, not the station name

42025-06-04 21:13commentedidotjThanks for your reply. Not sure if the problem is related to UI, because showing an icon with the Metro logo and labeled as "Valencia" is totally misleading. It should has an entrance icon instead. But if we talk about UX, then the label should clarify that the name "Valencia" is the entrance/street name and NOT the metro station. Something like this: Tarragona - Valencia entrance. Please feel free to ping me if I can provide a quick mockup or other ideas. Thanks

This is not the place to talk to the developers of Organic Maps. I would suggest opening an issue on their github linked below, the node is correctly mapped as being part of the station and thus they can extrapolate a more user friendly name if they desire. I will also point out that we map what is actually visible, on the ground, the word "entrance" would not be as the signs are in Catalan. https://github.com/organicmaps/organicmaps

In fact, in Organic Maps, it is shown as "Metro Entrance", with the sole "Metro Station" being shown as Tarragona. This can be missleading, but, as you say, it is up to OM Developers to change the way they render, if desired. Also, accoring to the official wiki: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:railway%3Dsubway_entrance "name: Recommended. Name of the exit if is known. Not the name of the station (use the public_transport=stop_area relation instead to link with the station). This doesn't include the reference either." In any case, thanks for all the comments! I will close for now, and feel free to re-open if needed!
