The old footpath is disused since the new cycleway was built. Tree saplings have been planted between the cycleway and the river, where the footpath was. I have split the way at this point and added sidewalk=no. There is a path connecting to the pavement around the outside of the car park, but a large concrete barrier block on top of the tactile paving blocks part the path it so would not be accessible in a wheelchair.

I tagged the port vehicle queuing area as foot=no, but I haven't done so on the road along the port to the West because it needs surveying. A few years ago you could walk along it and around the outside of the power station as far as Ocean Edge caravan park. Don't know if that's still the case.

Suggest the New Road/Cable Street merge should be before the bus station entrance? I would attempt to fix this but I'm nervous of breaking all the bus routes, and I'd like an experienced mapper's opinion.
	2	~ 10 months ago	commented	gurglypipe ♦1,888	I just had a play around with rearranging it in ID (without saving) and I’m not convinced it would be better. It introduces some really sharp angled turns (New Road → Cable Street and Cable Street → bus station) and I’m not convinced it would represent reality any more accurately than the existing mapping. Does the existing mapping allow any vehicle routing or other interpretations of the data which are incorrect? While the existing mapping isn’t great in showing New Road and the bus station entrance as crossing over as separate roads, in reality it is a really hairy lane change when driving there, so it’s not really inaccurate.

You're right about the lane change being hairy on the ground just like the map representation! I agree with leaving it alone.
