How is it doing this?

From what I could find, there are three contracts to this roadway - this segment is Contract 1, which is complete. Found this document that shows its progress: https://www.nj.gov/transportation/capital/stip2433/sec11/pdf/njtpa.pdf Eventually the full extension of the roadway will fly over the Croxton Intermodal Terminal going SW, go under the NJ Transit lines, and join with Westside Avenue. ♦4		@dannmer It looked like it was a few years old, and maybe infrequently used, but not unused. When I went through I recall it being clearly identifyableand didn't require wayfinding. My edits were against my own gps trace and I turned around at this point because my planned route was the trail that heads north from that area. I plan to be back in this part of the park today and intend to explore more of the undocumented sections. This trail continues west from this point, and remains parallel to and north of the cutting.

♦2		Not sure how this works but OpenMap is routing cars through this private driveway to get to 800 Concourse Village West. Example, if you request a destination from: 837 Washington Ave, Bronx.. To: 800 Concourse Village West, Bronx. The mapping system takes the driver through the private driveway. This driveway is private and now officially closed (fenced). Cars cannot get through and causes delays in Lyft and other mobile deliveries. Most of the time, Lyft/Delivery drivers just cancel the pickup. In some cases, I tell them to use Google Maps and they immediately get the correct routing to get to Concourse Village West. So, how can I get this driveway block from being used in navigating directions?

Your best bet is to go through each mapping service (besides OSM) and report an error. Then put up some signage to turn drivers away, then lastly, you can reach out to those companies directly. Any service that uses OSM may take a bit to update, but since OSM is correct (as described) and it does not connect on the map, then they are either using an old version, using a different navigation system or just ignoring the directions anyways.

♦13,687		I’m using rapid editor with Microsoft buildings enabled which provides decent building outlines in areas without tree cover. This layer is loaded by default but you need to enable it. The Esri database needs to loaded by searching for “United” that should bring it up and then click add. There should be tutorials that can provide additional details. The Esri data was consistent with previously mapped addresses so I added the missing ones. Microsoft doesn’t have outlines for some of your notes and none of the available imagery showed leaf off images so I didn’t map those houses. These two databases are handy for quickly adding houses and addresses if you use an appropriate level of caution.
