♦1,169		I don't know what the problem is. I changed it and fixed the underlying problem in my opinion and therefore am allowed to close the note. Now the southern part is not a track anymore, but instead a service way. The northern part is now a path. This is how I would tag it according to the traffic signs and how the ways are designed on the ground. The northern path is small, has paving stones and is like a footway, but not special sign, so highway=path is the only correct tagging IMO (and not highway=footway). The southern part is still difficult to define, but I understand your point and removed the highway=track for highway=service which fits best IMO. If you create a note with a question to other mappers and no idea / suggestion yourself to the problem, obviously other mappers are invited to solve this note on their own with their own ideas. If you have another opinion, let us know how you would tag it in the note first. Sorry 🤷 I just want to make the map better and solve notes that nobody else solves.

♦1,169		After no more reply, I am closing this now. I changed everything 6 months ago and the way is no track anymore. Based on the traffic signs and characteristics I think in my opinion it is correct now. If there are other ideas, just let me know.

♦8,829		Hm. Ich sehe gerade, dass das Gästehaus eine gepflegte Webseite hat. Daher ist nicht so klar, ob das verschwinden wird. Falls nicht, werden hier zwei POIs benötigt. Ich würde den Hinweis bis Februar offen lassen. Nach Öffnung des neuen Restaurants sollte man prüfen, ob das Gästehaus bleibt und die Daten entsprechend anpassen.

" Wird nur verwendet wo es kein feature (osm objekt) gibt das diesen namen repräsentiert. Das ist hier aber der Fall. Es ist der Name des Kreisverkehrs.

♦5,314		Ich habe es bisher so gehalten, bei normalen Kreisverkehren, diese gar nicht zu benennen. Hier wäre, wenn überhaupt, Trierer Straße der passendere Name. Es gibt Ausnahmen wie das Endenicher Ei oder den Kölner Verteiler zur A 555, die sind entweder lokal oder offiziell benamt. Beides sind aber keine Kreisverkehre im Sinne der StVO. Wie kriegen wir die Kuh vom Eis? Wie gesagt, ich tendiere zum place node, genauso wie es vorher erfasst war.

♦5,943		Also - "Trierer Straße" ist völlig falsch. Siehe wiki zu junction=roundabout. Der Weg der das junction=roundabout trägt, trägt _nicht_ den Namen einer der angeschlossenen Straßen, sondern den Namen des Kreisverkehrs. Wenn dieser keinen Namen hat (Was in Deutschland im gegensatz zu UK auf 99% der Kreisverkehre zutrifft) kommt dort gar nichts drauf. Wenn das braune Verkehrszeichen eine Touristenattraktion sein soll (Was ich bezweifel) dann hätte ich gerne gewusst mit welchen StVO Zeichen denn der Name eines Kreisverkehrs Beschildert wird. Der name hier deutet ja drauf hin das es eben darum geht den Kreisverkehr zu benennen. Dazu kommt das der name von Kreisverkehren auch im Routing dazu benutzt wird Anzusagen das am "Kreisverkehr Foobar die 3. Ausfahrt" - _DAS_ geht nur wenn man den name auch auf dem Highway mit dem junction=roundabout hat. Flo

Ich meine mich an Diskussionen im Forum und auch in der aktuellen Community zu erinnern, mit der überwiegenden Meinung, _Straßen_ in Kreisverkehren nicht zu benennen. - Die von mir genannten Beispiele in Köln und Bonn sind keine Kreisverkehre, deswegen _können_ die auch Namen haben. - Hätte der Wegering einen offiziellen Straßenname, würde dort ein oder mehrere Schilder wie an jeder Straßenecke stehen. Ob die eine Vz-Nummer kann ich nach Suche hier https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bildtafel_der_Verkehrszeichen_in_der_Bundesrepublik_Deutschland_seit_2017#Allgemeine_Gefahrzeichen nicht sagen. Ist IMHO aber auch egal. Und BTW, wir sind hier ausserhalb einer geschlossen Ortschaft, dort sind Straßennamen ungewöhnlich. My two cents: I think place=locality is fine according to the wiki as berndw said. I would attach it to the landuse=meadow area as redrace suggested. That way, we have 1 object with all tags instead of 2 separate ones. And I actually agree with flohoff about the street name, because the wiki says that you should give the name to the street at the roundabout. With this solution everyone here should get some of his parts solved. I would implement this in a week. ♦311		Mir ist gerade noch folgendes aufgefallen: Die Positionsdaten kommen noch aus dem VRS-Import (https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/8904006) und wurden anscheinend nie vor Ort überprüft. Leider sind die Positionen aus dem Import jedoch sehr oft fehlerhaft und teilweise weit daneben. Ich vermute, dies ist auch hier der Fall und die Haltestelle befindet sich eigentlich irgendwo in der Nähe der Schulen "Am Mühlenberg". Dort ist sie dann auch in der Regionalkarte Mobil in Schleiden (https://www.vrs.de/fileadmin/Dateien/Downloadcenter/Mobil_in_Schleiden2016_Web.pdf) und der Umgebungskarte (https://ekap-download.vrs.de/downloads/haltestellen/umgebungskarte/de_05366_78263_Schleiden_Schulzentrum.jpg) eingezeichnet. Eine genaue Position ist dort jedoch nicht zu erkennen, dementsprechend müsste die Haltestelle am besten vor Ort (am Schulzentrum) geprüft und dann in OSM korrigiert und bestenfalls auch beim VRS gemeldet werden.

Someone in Ahrbrück will not get this info that you posted here. I think it is better to create fixme=* tags on the affected objects along the Ahrtalbahn that you want to check.

This was added 14 years ago and there probably was a stop, although when I look at the tagging, not a "real" bus stop with bench, shelter etc., but a "virtual" stop position only for AST (Anruf-Sammel-Taxi). I checked the most recent AST plan and VRS site, but nothing. So I removed it.

At position of number 2 is number 2. At position of number 2b is number 2b. In other words, everything is correct here in OSM. This also only makes sense, because usually the letters a, b etc. are added when a new house is built inbetween older building later. I can clearly see in aerial imagery that number 1 is probably the oldest bulding and was built first. Number 2 also. Number 2b looks newer, so it was probably built later. And the kindergarten looks the newest. I know that this is only speculation, but it is very usual and makes sense. But assumptions aside, if you have a look at the official NRW Liegenschaftskataster (https://www.tim-online.nrw.de/tim-online2/), everything is as I said and mapped in OSM. Why should it be different? If you are right, there are much more other things to clear up, so you better have to tell your local city Stadt/Kreis Düren first that there is an error in their data. So maybe this is only a sign to warn people that there could be old military stuff lying around but it is no "real" restricted area and everybody can walk here. I would close this note for now. We have another note in the same area with a slightly different but similar topic: https://www.openstreetmap.org/note/2975688 After the flood 2021, a lot of ways are blocked. I would combine your note in this other note and if we find something more that we can add to the map, I would add it there and remember your information.

I know that this mapper added a lot here in this region but back in the days very unprecise and "rough", you can still see her very "special" mapping style in this area of Bad Münstereifel, where she was drawing forests in private gardens etc.. The aerial imagery back then was also not good. So my guess is that Marielchen just draw way too big ponds here because she did not know better and there was only a little bit of wetland 10 years ago but no more.

♦1,454		Ui, da kommt ja schnell eine Antwort :) Der Eintrag ist 14 Jahre alt, kann gut sein, dass die Teiche inzwischen trockengefallen sind. Hier im westlichen Teich ist noch eine ganz kleine Wasserfläche im DGM erkennbar, NRW Alkis hat die auch. Ich hab's jetzt auf intermittend gesetzt + fixme ergänzt. Ich würde die Meldung noch eine Zeitlang offen lassen und hoffen, dass ein OSM-Wanderer vorbeikommt.

♦1,169		I changed the tagging a bit to define, that is it seasonal and visible very bad. Be aware of the seasons! In winter, the way can become usable again. Now in summer, when everything is growing, it is not usable. But I checked official NRW Atlas and this is a public way area. So it has to be hold free by the farmers and is not "gone" per se.

♦996		Hier an der Ecke steht ein Straßenschild, das nach Westen zeigt, "Irnicher Str." In OSM steht nur "Irnich". Beide Straßen gibt es laut PLZ-Verzeichnis der Deutschen Post. Die Frage ist, von wo nach wo führt die Irnicher Straße?

♦1,169		I corrected it. The small part between the crossing "Schwerfener Hauptstraße"/"Floisdorfer Straße" and "In den Betzen" is "Irnicher Straße". After that, the street is just called "Irnich".
