Does the trailblazed hiking path just end in the middle of nowhere? Why it isn't connected to the other paths? Is it still obstacled by vegetation?

removed the hiking relation, the last part of the path is marked as completely overgrown.

The "overgrown" entry was more than 5 years old! Is it overgorwn _now_? When have you surveyed it? The removed hiking relation was fake, or was it removed? Why and how? Thank you!

Given that there are recent aerial photos which show no cutline through the dwarf pines and no traces on strava the likelyhood of it still being overgrown is high. Again: these paths should have never been entered in OSM as a hiking relation (only fkv mapped paths like this as relations). Those relations are usually only used for official hiking paths that have some entity (ÖTK, ÖAV, Naturfreunde, some municipality, etc...) behind them which cares for them. The paths in question are hunters paths or approach paths. Some person in the past cut the dwarf pines and some person (maybe the same) used paint to mark this path. There are many paths like this in the mountains, sometimes are are dotted lines in the official maps, sometimes they exist only in OSM. trailblazed = symbols is a way to tag such paths.

Danke sehr! I was not able to check this side yesterday, but the other side was overgrown, so let's close this; some comments follow on the other side! :-)

Can't you just simply go from here to Seeweg? This should be connected, even by informal=yes path because this way it's a cul-du-sac... Also how can it be a trailblazed hiking path with no connections to the path network?

This is old mapping by a now deceased member of the community. The cut out trail through the dwarf pines seems to be marked by red dots but those markings are not official markings. I will delete the relation - those should only be for actual hiking paths - and instead add the tags trailblazed=symbol and osmc:symbol to the individual path segments. I will leave the path disconnected since the trail only seems to be exist inside the dwarfpine-field. Maybe I can check it in person before winter sets in.

Let's keep this open and I try to check it tomorrow. :-)

I have checked this side. First, I will connect into the road network since it's trivial to go there. Second, I can neither confirm nor deny that the path is possible to walk in the summer but yesterday there was snow and it's absolutely invisible, though it may be possible to walk that in the summer. I have found a pole with a red dot sign about 20 meters into the path, looked like a skiing or bergweg marker in the middle of the dwarf pines but I am not familar with this marker. I let you local people to decide whether to keep it or not, I'll tag some attributes just in case. You can close this if you're happy with as it is now. Danke!
