Where two tracks or roads a really close like this and do not join, it's best to add a noexit=yes to both the end nodes so that the next editor doesn't link them unintentionally and validation routines find gaps in roads as errors.

It keeps the history and in the note you can explain why you set it to disused and that means people may not reactivate it from Strava or another app. I would add the noexit at the sametime just for clarity. However, If this was in a brand new estate and the estate had completely destroyed the old farm track and built houses and roads over it then feel free to delete that if it has been completely erased. Keeping a log really helps in areas like this where it is difficult to map and tracks can close or reopen on a whim. You are doing really good stuff here.

I have added the second slipway and adjusted the parking area to avoid the slipways and pier. The highway=service was from 14 years ago when editors and tagging regimes were very different and whilst service could be better, it wasn't inherently incorrect and done in good faith.
