Hello AJW92, the DWG has received a complaint from the land owner implying that https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/766015130 was a private path and not open to the public. You have added this path as "access=permissive". Are you sure about that, or was that more a guess than a fact? (Ticket...

Hi
I think your edit broke The Cotswold Way relation in a couple places. Could you take a look at it please (The blue markers in the middle)

22020-03-23 14:10AJW92 Hi,
Apologies, I'll fix that this afternoon.

Regarding the route location, I'll check the information we have and, providing its OSM compatible, amend if needed.

Cheers,
Andy

Thanks for these updates! Is https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/518749729 supposed to no longer be highway=path?
22019-11-11 16:07AJW92 Hi, thanks for the comment.
The local ranger advised there's no distinguishable path on the ground and the route has no legal or permissive access rights. I think the foot/bicycle/horse tags also need updating.
Before I update them, is there a more appropriate tag combination to describe this...

There’s a stile marked at the eastern end of the path, so maybe it’s an older path (on access land?) which has fallen into disuse? If so, your suggestion of restoring highway=footpath and setting the surface and tracktype appropriately seems reasonable to me. However, I’m not an ex...
42019-11-12 11:45AJW92 That's a good point, the stile suggests there are access permissions - at least for walkers. I believe the access land border falls slightly to the north of the path, but I'll double-check. I'll also speak to the ranger about this. For now, I've reverted the highway tag and added...

Hi, please could you keep your changesets to sensible areas. Large area changesets such as this makes it very difficult for local mappers to spot changes in their area.
Please save and start a new changeset before moving to another area.
Cheers Phil
