@Eleuthere thank you for helping map Tanzania, we need help. Please review the OSM key/tag value usage. Typically name is only reserved for a proper name, you did name=building=construction. On the Maxar imagery the building looks complete. Thanks again for the help.
2 ~ 5 years agoEleuthere Strange. I don't remember having tagged this building as "construction". If my memory is right, I only aligned an already mapped building which wasn't properly aligned.
Should I do something else for this?

I also applied to become a validator on this project. Any news about t...

Look at the history of that feature, right click in JOSM, you can see that you edited the feature, but didn't remove the incorrect tag. Using JOSM is a better tool for validation. That is my suggestion before becoming a validator. Thanks
4 ~ 5 years agoEleuthere Ok. I did try many times to launch JOSM on my mac, but there is always something Ok. Ok. I tried to work with JOSM many times on my mac, but there was always something wrong. So I stopped.
Thank you for letting me kindly know that my mapping is not at a level to become a validator. Please, do remov...

Eleuthere, I understand the issues with mac install, it can be challenging, but most of my work is done on a mac. Please give it a try again, we need people like you. You can clean up this one issue, it will be a good way to see how JOSM works. Thanks

Hello Palolo,
It seems Eleuthere only aligned existing object. The previous editor that added the building = construction. Please check this

Thanks.
Happy mapping!

adiatmad, yes I was aware of that. Eleuthere would like to become a validator, cleaning up issues like this is a part of validation and much easier in JOSM
Thanks

Hi @Eleuthere and all! If it helps, we run virtual mapathons where there is a JOSM training room. Here, experienced JOSM'ers guide people through the install / mapping process using JOSM - we are very experienced with solving the mac problems ;) In fact, there is also a validation training room...

The object in question is visible on DG Premium imagery. It's of natural origin and definitely no settlement > i deleted it while validating HOT task #3046.
